Summary
So, I got this idea randomly one day and could not stop thinking about it. Carlos Santos had always looked up to The Foxes, way before anyone else even noticed them. They were the team that got him interested in exy. Unfortunately, he was not recruited onto their team. To make matters worse, he had let his father down once again. Luckily, he got recruited onto the Atlanta Starlings, who climbed their way to the top.
Kevin does not know how to feel. So many things have happened in a short period of time, from their win against the Ravens to his brother being killed, he has not really had much time to process any of it. All that is pushed to the side when a new exy team enters their league, he finds himself interested in one of their players. A short, tanned skin man who was quick on his feet and seemed to get around almost unnoticed.
Soon, the two teams clash, and at first, nothing happens. But sparks soon start to fly. But can they really let themselves have this? Or will the pressure from others become too much? Will their story end in tatters or will they be able to have the happy ending both of them truly want?
Or, a slow burn between two oblivious idiots.
