Summary
Oliver struggles to define who he is after abruptly leaving everything he's ever known to move across an ocean to live in the midwestern United States with his brother (Charlie), his brother's husband (Nick), and his niece (Ava).
Enrolled in an American High School, Olly worries he'll never understand American customs enough to fit in and that he won't be able to make any friends, despite his naturally outgoing nature. On the first day of school, luck is on his side when he's paired up with Jaden, another student just trying to figure out how to navigate their own world. Jaden helps Olly cope and adapt to the unwritten rules of the American High School experience, while Olly helps Jaden come out of their shell, both helping each other to learn it's ok to be exactly who they are.
