Furina, the human counterpart of Focalours. Tasked to save Fontaine from it's prophecy. For her role to be done she became an actor in a never ending masquerade. She fooled her auditorium, day by day never letting the mask slip. She gave her everything to protect the people of Fontaine, with her pain on a scale compared to the pain of everyone else, her sacrifice was necessary. She was fake like porcelain dolls but not fake like plastic Barbies. She did what was necessary even though it meant she would have to suffer.
In the Opera Elise, furina sat there, day by day. Trial after Trial. Life was in slow motion. She could not falter her mask, her masquerade was not over yet. She sat there, numb. Masking her emotions under a big 'personality.' One which was not hers, one she made up to fool Fontaine. Furina was made to save Fontaine. She had to fool the heavenly principals, a task no mortal would ever dare to attempt.
Whilst furina wasn't and has never been an Archon, she will continue to be respected like one. She may not be strong like ei or smart like Nahida. But she fooled the heavenly principals, she helped save Fontaine.
