   Summary

   Aylin brought her hands to the round curve of Isobel’s cheeks, breathing in her words and taking the promise into her lungs where it caught, hitched and impassioned. As her fingers moved, sliding through Isobel’s hair to sweep over the curve of her neck, Isobel rose once more, her hands circling Aylin’s wrists to pin her hands and stop their wandering.

   “It isn’t the only scar I’ve given you.”

   Aylin’s eyes followed the upward slant of Isobel’s lips, red and swollen and inviting. Her gaze shone with excitement, cheeks rosy with a high flush that made her look so incredibly, vitally alive.
