Chapter Text
Nothing was the same anymore. None of the pack has seen or spoken to Izuku and Kaminari since that day. They couldn't even tell how long they had been in the void. It's changed to appear more...comfortable for them. They have buildings that are supposed to resemble homes.
One for each set of mates or single person. Food and other necessities are regularly brought every other day. They were starting to grow restless as they sat around. Kirishima has been locking himself away lately. He wouldn't speak or interact with anyone but the twins.
Being in the void was starting to affect them negatively. Nezu would come every few days to take the twins and none of them could oppose. Their quirks didn't work in here. Today they were demanding answers. They all gathered inside the home Aizawa and Yamada had claimed.
"I don't think they're too far gone. They're still in there," Hōseki spoke up as Hito lay in her lap asleep.
"Maybe at some point but it's been so long... Even when it first happened I could barely recognize them." Sero mumbled as Seiji played with his hands.
"Well, I think they are still somewhat aware. I mean really think about it, everyone here is either their packmates or someone they consider family except me and Hito. We have never really been people that they'd regularly interact with.
We're barely friends but we're still here because we're Mina's mates. We're here because Mina would have a hard time without us." Hōseki pointed out.
"You are correct, Everything the masters are doing it for your benefit."
They all turned to see Nezu standing in the doorway of the living room.
"Nezu," Shoto acknowledged.
"I am here for Koichi and Seiji," His usual smile stayed on his face.
"What has happened to you?" Yamada frowned.
Nezu looked confused, "What do you mean?"
"When you first appeared here you said you left a message for Enji. You said you'd stop this and save them. Now you're acting as their messenger and Enji is nowhere to be seen. He was with Keigo and Dabi when I called so I know he knows how serious this situation is.
If we're still here that means he failed and if he failed he should be here for trying to stop them. I mean you could at least tell us what's happening out there instead of coming to take my grandchildren every few days," Aizawa said irritated.
"We are helping the masters for your benefit. There's no need to worry about the outside world. Here you are able to live freely-"
Bakugo slammed his hand on the table irritated, "We aren't living freely!"
Seiji lowly cried now scared and Bakugo quickly took them from Sero bouncing his leg.
"Shhh, daddy's sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Bakugo said sweetly.
"Bring Ōkami here," Mina told Nezu.
After a few minutes, Ōkami appeared beside Nezu.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Why aren't you stopping Izuku? We both know he's taking things too far," Dabi looked at him.
"Why would I stop him? Master has done nothing wrong. It's him who was wrong for taking the pups. You should be happy considering the wonderful gift Master has given you." Ōkami told him.
"Wonderful gift? Why would I want the organs of someone who used to be my mate?! That shit was sick!" Dabi said horrified.
Ōkami made a face that terrified all of them. An animal should not be able to make an expression like that. It was unnatural in every way.
"No don't say such things master will be hurt! He worked hard to acquire those for you!" Ōkami said worriedly.
"What the hell is wrong with you...?" Hawks said lowly.
"You're all wasting your time, they aren't "themselves" right now," A voice said.
They all turned their focus towards the figure behind Nezu and Ōkami. Both animals bowed to the man making them more unnerved than before.
"Go ahead and take the children before those two starts to worry." Kozā smiled.
"As you wish,"
Bakugo and Yamada reluctantly handed over the children.
"Who the hell are you?" Aizawa asked cautiously.
"He's the god Izuku is reincarnated from and also his Omega," Shinso answered.
"I'm sorry what?" Yamada looked at him.
"Basically he and Kaminari's Omega's were gods and forbidden lovers. The other gods didn't approve of the relationship and executed them.
Since they're gods and can't die they just reincarnated every time the other gods tried to kill them. Izuku and Kaminari are their current reincarnations." Shinso further explained.
"You know what that actually makes a lot of sense," Mina just accepted.
"How do you know that and we don't?" Bakugo asked.
"Honestly I only know because Izuku's heat got so bad he had to come out and help. Ōkami explained it all to me after that. Besides Kaminari, the animals, and maybe Sero, no one else knows." Shinso sighed.
"Call me Kozā and yes our existence is supposed to be a secret along with Narrator-Kuns-"

"There's that name again, who is that?" Shoto asked being a nosy little shit and was ignored.
Stop listening so hard!
Shoto looked around like the confused little fuck he is-
Cut that out!
Yes, Author-san...

"-but as things are now it's best you know who I am," Kozā smiled.
"What did you mean by aren't themselves?" Hawks asked.
"Well as you should know Denki, Izuku, and the animals are in some way connected at the brain. They each experienced some pretty severe mental trauma due to the situation and ended up sharing it with one another.
Izuku and Denki's minds are essentially in a self-preservation state. Their only goal is to protect their family from the threat. Right now to them the threat to you is the whole world. So you're all stuck in here until they can make the world safe.
As for the animals, think of it as a hive mind type of thing. They want the same thing so they'll do whatever those two want them to do to help them accomplish the goal." Kozā explained.
"So we're stuck in here forever?" Bakugo deadpanned.
"There's no way that's healthy for them," Yamada said worriedly.
"They can't make the world safer for us, it's impossible. Can't you snap them out of this or something?" Aizawa asked.
"Oh no it is very possible, with our help of course," Kozā smiled eerily sweet "Don't worry, Enji, Azure, and Dove is also helping the boys with this. They are completely themselves and under no influence so just trust in them." With that Kozā disappeared.
"Shinso...why exactly were the gods so against them being together?" Dabi asked.
"Um from what I recall they adored Kaminari's Omega, Nokori, but not Kozā. He had something dark lurking inside him and they feared it would ruin Nokori. They were afraid of what would happen if they stayed together.
When the two refused to leave one another Kozā died for Nokori but Nokori still died shortly after. The two were cursed to keep them apart but it didn't work." Shinso explained.
"Curse?" Shoto said confused.
"Every time they reincarnate and get together bad things happen and finally one of them has to die to finally separate them. It always ends with "Izuku" killing himself to save "Kaminari". But Kaminari can't live without Izuku and dies to be with him.
The gods still continued trying to separate them like giving us second genders and making them have different mates but they still always find their way back to each other. The curse was supposed to reach that final stage during that big fight with the league.
They broke it by trying to kill themselves at the same time. When on the verge of death Izuku healed them breaking the curse. No one knows what'll happen to them now... that's all I know," Shinso finished.
"Oh my God,"
"We should have listened to Ōkami when he said not to trust Kozā," Bakugo mumbled.
"He isn't controlling them," Sero finally spoke up though quietly.
"How do you know that?" Hawks asked.
"Kozā and Nokori aren't like that, they aren't evil. They love Izu and Denki more than anyone. They saved them that day during that fight with the league. Both of them had given up and wanted to die.
They were ready to leave everything behind and finally just be together. It was Nokori and Kozā that reminded them why they were fighting in the first place. They reminded them of us and why they should keep living.
Kozā doesn't have anything "dark" inside of him. He was just willing to do anything to protect the person he loved even if that meant killing. He was willing to do whatever it took to save Nokori.
The other gods were scared of their love because they didn't understand it. They thought Kozā wasn't good enough for Nokori so they condemned him to death. Despite everything they tried Nokori always chose Kozā and they couldn't accept that.
Izuku is the same but it's not because of Kozā, he was like that way before Kozā manifested. The only reason I'm not worried is because they have Kozā and Nokori. Those two will keep Izuku and Kaminari from destroying themselves and us.
Just trust that our mates are still our mates, if they weren't we wouldn't be in here. They never abandoned or stopped loving us so we shouldn't give up on them," Sero said looking down.
Bakugo took Sero's hand and interlocked it with his, "You're right," he smiled.
