Summary
It's the end of an era and the beginning of another. In the dimming days of the old American west a gang of desperate outlaws seek an existence free from the encroachment of civilization, rallying behind their charismatic pair of leaders, Shouta Aizawa and Toshinori Yagi. Though at the point where we enter the story the gang has reached a low, a failed robbery and a desperate fight with the infamous Shinsengumi heroics agency has forced the gang to flee into freezing mountains, and has strained trust between the gang members and their leaders. It is through the eyes of Katsuki Bakugou that the Aizawa gang's final days will be witnessed as he struggles with his own conceptions of loyalty, honor and redemption.
(Lore edit. Quirks are present, but they are both rarer and generally less powerful than in the main series so most people fight with guns. Class A and other characters such as Aizawa are based around their adult designs from ch430/431, with the costumes being replaced by the outfits of the RDR2 character that they're replacing in the story)

It had somehow became a...habit, almost.
Moments shared late at night, just the two of them, and no one else. Katsuki, to this day, still hasn't quite figured out what to make of it, but he welcomes it everytime and without question. And when he's the one who initiates it, Izuku does the same.
Outside the sanctuary of bedsheets and drawn curtains, nothing about their ways of day to day life has changed. Besides the fact that Izuku's smile seems brighter and Katsuki is generally in a less grouchy mood.
So it's safe to assume they're still friends, just better and closer friends than before.
Right?
OR: Katsuki and Izuku go hiking as their senior trip, just the two of them, alone, in the woods on the side of a mountain. After months of not really knowing what they're doing, they figure their shit out....rather unconventionally.

Midoriya Izuku lives a normal, average life. Until one day, after living in a rural town for years after junior high, Mitsuki Bakugou shows up on his doorstep to speak to his mother. That day, Izuku decides it is time to return to the city.
He rents out a flat near where he used to live, and begins another quiet life in the city. That is, until he encounters a hazy, corporeal cat. The cat flickers out of existence, living in his peripheral, and Izuku decides to catch up on sleep. He was certain there was no way that could be someone's quirk, so what else could it be but a hallucination from exhaustion?
The apparition continues to appear. He concludes he must be seriously ill, and decides to head to a hospital. It is then that an old, ghostly man speaks to him. Unwillingly, Izuku is thrown into the world of heroes and villains, cursed by the itch in the back of his head that convinces him this is his responsibility.
Izuku Midoriya will not be getting that quiet life. How unfortunate, right?
