   "That was when everything seemed to fade into smoke, brushing past her searching thoughts and curling back into the dark depths of her mind. A dream, Rin thought. A silly little dream that would never be realised. Wesker was dead and gone.

   Yet a dim light invades her senses, and Rin cracks an eye open, groaning. The room is different here, drab walls and no windows, something creaking below her as she shifts backwards. It takes a moment or two for her vision to clear totally, though when Wesker remains, strangely solid, she reassures herself again.

   A dream. A faded memory."
