Chapter Text

    In a café near the street, Mahiru and his friends were hanging out. But they weren't happily talking to each other, they were miserable. The boy beside him with an angel winged backpack lifts his face off the table then turns his head to look at Mahiru with a not so happy expression.

"Mahiru-kun...have you found another job yet?" The raven haired boy asked the brunette beside him, before dropping himself on the table again looking annoyed.

"We still don't have enough money to pay the student debts..." He mumbled.

"Unfortunately, I haven't. But don't be mad Licht-kun we'll surely find another job sooner or later!" The brunette assured the boy beside him.

"I doubt onii-san has found a job offer yet, he always talks to that stupid doll of his" A purple haired boy infront of Mahiru spoke up with a annoyed expression to his older brother who was luckily not there with them or he would've humiliated all of them because of his yelling.

Another person beside the purple haired boy with blonde hair and four hairclips next to his bangs, chuckled at his expression causing Misono's cheeks to have a tint of red, showing that he was embarrassed.

"Hey! Misono-chan shouldn't talk about Abel like that!" A boy with a cowboy hat and blonde hair with orange plaits suddenly appeared in front of them, startling the boys. "I'll have you know that I actually found one!" The boys then looked at him with a confused expression before Tetsu spoke up.

"What do you mean Mikuni-sama?"

"Well, I found a job offer online." Mikuni then took out his phone and showed it to the group. "It's a Servant job-" But before he could continue, he was cut off by Licht slamming his hand on the table and standing up to confront Mikuni.

"Can't you find any other? And what do you mean a Servant? Are we going to clean some rich guys shoes and just follow their orders!?" Licht argued with Mikuni for a whole minute before they were stopped by Mahiru.

"C'mon guys, we're attracting attention from the other customers. But I do agree with Licht though, isn't there another job you could find?"

Licht then sat back down agreeing with Mahiru's statement. "Guys I just looked and the daily salary is 50,000 yen." Misono suddenly states, shocking Tetsu and both Licht and Mahiru.

"No way that's true, give me the phone." Licht then snatched the phone from Misono's hands and looked at it himself to see and Mahiru looked at his shoulder to know as well. "What Misono-chan said is true, that's why I decided to tell you guys. Unfortunately you decided to argue instead of hearing the entire situation, mhm!" Mikuni pouted while glaring at Licht but they were still shocked because of the salary.

"I still can't believe it, that's like 1 million each month!" Tetsu excitedly exclaimed. "But still, many people are going to apply for it. So, we should do our best!" Mahiru explained and then looked at the others if they agreed with him and they all nod to let him know they also agree.

"By the way, where did you find this?"

Mikuni then looked at Tetsu with a nervous expression and the others were looking at him as well since they were quite curious because they can't believe that he could find something like that by himself without any help.

"Uh.."

"Mikuni-sama, where did you find this.." Mahiru asked him in an annoyed tone causing Mikuni to sweat nervously before sighing and finally giving up and telling them.

"It was Sakuya's idea."

"Berkia, may you call on the servamps?" The man sitting in the chair asked a favor for the person in front of him with unusual pink hair in a pigtail and an atrocious fashion sense almost making him gag in sight.

"Why yes of course!" Berkia excitedly twirls around at the offer he received but before he could leave, the man asked another thing from him.

"Please call Kuro and Jeje first before the others. I have something to ask them about."

Berkia nods before closing the door behind him. The man then looks at the picture frame on the desk showing 8 children in front of him with a lady beside him who is supposedly the mother of his children. But, before he could continue fascinating about the picture, Berkia suddenly opened the door and startling him when he looked at Berkia he realized he didn't come alone, he was accompanied by two boys beside him.

A boy with messy ash blue hair wearing a jacket with the hood over his head followed by another boy with long ebony black hair that is tied in a short ponytail and his face is covered by a vieled hat and a mask under it slowly approaches the man in front of them.

"Thank you Berkia, you may continue to call on the others." The man smiled at his guests after Berkia ran out the door closing it in the process. The two boys went up close to their father looking annoyed because he disturbed them.

"What do you want? Father." The bluenette boy asked him with a confused expression. The other also nods before glaring at the man in front of them.

"I want to know if you've made your choices already..?" The man grinned at his words and looked up to see his two children's shocked look although he can't see Jeje's face clearly he knows him well enough to know his reactions.

"So..? I'm waiting" he laughed at their annoyed and shocked expressions.

"..." The two boys were both silent at their father's question because they knew damn well that all the maidens they were "supposed" to pick were absolute trash and had no personality at all.

"Because if you don't pick until the end of the week, I'll be the one to choose for you." The man smirked but before they could continue talking, the other four Servamps already arrived.

"What is this time Father...~ you're quite in a happy mood~!"

Kuro and Jeje looked behind them to see Lily, a blonde shoulder length boy with upside down heart earrings approached Jeje and Kuro. He was also followed by a spiky haired blonde with black streaks and red square-framed glasses named Hyde.

"C'mon Lily, you know Dad is always in a good mood when we are all here!" Hyde then put his arm around Lily's shoulder causing him to chuckle.

"Hmm! We get it Hyde!"

Another boy with black hair who wore a top hat and a monocle who somewhat looks like a child flew directly on top of Hyde's head and hit it with his shoulder. Hyde almost fell face first on the floor but was caught by Lily who was laughing at the situation and his given name is Hugh.

"My my, isn't this a wonderful family reunion!"

A boy with short black hair and black sunglasses suddenly appears next to their father, seems to be chuckling every now and then. His name is Tsubaki.

"Freya and Illdio will not be here I assume, but oh well, I guess It'll just be you six"

"Why have you summoned us sensei?" Tsubaki asked him since he knows his brothers are most likely curious as well about the sudden family meeting.

Their father then looks at Tsubaki before looking at the other confused expressions. He grinned before saying.

"I have heard from the Sub-classes that you are quite not satisfied with the blood provided for you, is that true?"

The Servamps including Tsubaki looked at each other and then looked back at their father with a nod, meaning that what he said earlier was true.

"You kids are always very picky with your meals, however I do have a solution."

The Servamps were now very interested, they have been feeding off blood that was from a blood bank not too far away but they hated it.

Although it was the only way they could consume blood without harming humans, it still doesn't satisfy their cravings. They have consumed the bloods of different people yet they still haven't found the one that could meet their expectations.

"How do you know that we will finally drink something that could satisfy our needs?" The eldest of them spoke up in a cold and distant tone. But despite the tone of voice Kuro spoke in their father only laughed and smirked.

"You'll see."

"Sakuya?...SAKUYA? REALLY?" Licht  stood up and grabbed Mikuni by his collar and aggressively shaking him.

Many customers were looking at them with weird looks and they seemed to be disturbing their peace because of their obnoxious bickering for the past hour.

"Hey Licht, we're gaining attention again. We need to talk about this more quietly rather than arguing with each other." Misono puts a hand on Licht's shoulder making him stop to a stop and realise Mikuni from his grip, causing him to fall.

"Tch..Fine" Licht finally apologized and eventually after a few minutes of talking Mahiru hurried to apologize for their behavior to the manager and turned his head to glare at his friends making their spines shiver. After apologizing to the manager they finally left the cafe.

"This is why we got fired in the first place.." Misono mumbled before sighing loudly, remembering their last experience on their previous job.

While Misono was washing the dishes, he heard a scream in the living room. He immediately ran and when he opened the door, he was devastated.

Mikuni was fighting with a kid because she tried stealing Abel away from him and now his partially screaming and cursing at the child. Mahiru is trying to get the kid to hand Abel back and also calming Mikuni down.

And in the corner of the room Tetsu is trying to feed a child but they keep throwing food at him. Misono felt bad for Tetsu but in a split second Licht was running around trying to catch a little kid and trying to kick him because they were bad mouthing his angel wing backpack and his perspective of him being an actual angel and Misono ran at them trying to convince Licht not to kick a child. It was a complete mess.

"HAND OVER ABEL! SHE'S NOT YOURS YOU BRAT!!" Mikuni shouted as he tried pulling Abel from the child and Mahiru was getting frustrated at the situation and tried to make the kid let go of Abel.

"C'mon give Abel back..It isn't yours."

"No! No! He's a boy so he can't play with dolls! I should have her!!" The kid screamed at Mahiru causing his earlobes to almost combust.

"MIKUNI LANGUAGE!" In a near corner of the room , Misono screamed at Mikuni for saying inappropriate words in front of a child but he couldn't focus that much on his older brother since he was trying to prevent Licht from kicking the child into a nearby wall or furniture.

"You kid, what did you say about my angel wings!" Licht tried his best not to kick Misono and attack the kid but he knows he might get the others in trouble however the kid in front of him is making him angrier by the second.

"Mr. Licht you act like a kid because of your backpack! I doubt you aren't a real angel!" The kid teased Licht while sticking his tongue at him. Licht grabbed the kid by the collar and threw him into a wall but luckily for the kid Misono caught him in time before he could hit the wall. While Tetsu was trying to feed the child but they kept spitting and throwing food at him, he sighed softly before getting the wipes and cleaning his clothes and face from the food thrown at him but when he tried cleaning the child, he suddenly cried making Tetsu panic.

When the parents arrived, they were shocked at the mess. Mahiru and Misono immediately ran to apologize for everything they caused and offered to help the cleaning, although they still got paid, it was cut in half because of their behavior and the destruction they caused in the house.

     ✿.｡.:* ☆::. PRESENT .::.☆*.:｡.✿

"Hey Misono.. are you okay?" Mahiru put a hand on his shoulder. Misono turned around to look at Mahiru and nodded before looking at his brother and other friends chatting happily, Licht is choking Mikuni and Tetsu is trying to stop him from choking Mikuni until he's passed out.

Then, Misono realized that they didn't know when the interview was for this servant job but based on the information that Mikuni showed earlier kinda made him suspicious about it since what servant job would need it as a requirement to give their blood to them, but he decided to ignore it for know and focus on being accepted since the student debts were piling up. So he asked Mikuni about it.

"By the way onii-san, when is the interview for the job?" Misono looked at Mikuni with a confused expression and Licht finally released Mikuni from his grasp and before answering the question Mikuni looked at his phone for a good minute until showing it to the others.

"The day after tomorrow at 8 PM. It's located in that mansion that's on top of that hill" Mikuni then pointed at a hill that was covered in black mist making it barely visible. Mahiru then looked at the hill Mikuni pointed at, he was then reminded of a story that was told in his childhood about that place.

"Wait.. ISN'T THAT THE VAMPIRE'S MANSION FROM THOSE FOLKTALES?" Licht shouted at Mikuni then put his hands on his shoulders and shook him violetly again making Mikuni dizzy and couldn't reply because of it. Tetsu couldn't hold it anymore and said. "Licht is right. But be honest with me guys, do you think we have a choice?"

He looked at them and saw their sorrowful looks knowing what Misono said was true and they finally accepted that they don't have a choice because almost all the other jobs they did, this one was the highest paying one they could find.

"So, how about we meet up here at 7 PM?" Tetsu politely asked and the others nodded. "Okay, make sure you guys aren't late or I'll punch the living shit out of you" Licht threatened them before waving goodbye and then they went their separate ways. They all had one goal at the moment, ace the interview and get accepted for the job.

I just reread this fanfic from a year ago, this truly is concerning. Fear not fellow readers! This will be rewritten eventually and be properly betaread by yours truly. I have not indulged in writing fanfics for quite some time now, it has been a surprise to see people actually liking this piece of literature I wrote when I was 13. I may need to rewatch the show and take in their character depth and characterization for a proper analyzation, any hows thanks for reading this!

It genuinely was a pain rereading this old thing especially considering their canon personalities, though what shocked me the most is that this was all freehanded most of the time so I didn't really have anything to go off of like storyboards, small notes and worldbuilding etiquettes. I do apologize for the inconsistent story and shitty plotholes, it's basically just 1 chapter but you can obviously see for yourself that the story is lacking for the most part.
