"Anakin," Obi-Wan says softly, and oh, Anakin feels emotional at Obi-Wan's voice, at how he just wants to make Obi-Wan's soothing tone tangible so he can wrap himself in it like a weighted blanket. "Are you alright?" Anakin drags his eyes up from where they've been trained on the floor, and tries to meet Obi-Wan's gaze. He quickly lowers his eyes again after a brief glance though. That's too much right now. He feels a flicker of shame, a rise from the part of his brain that calls himself weak, as he shakes his head at Obi-Wan's question.
(In which Obi-Wan helps Anakin recoup after a tough day and reminds him that he's not a burden.)
