After hearing a song that Richard sang,
Darwin decided that in order to stop Nicole and Anais from torturing him and Gumball,
They need to make him feel like he is their hero again.
So he takes Gumball somewhere that will put them in a lot of danger.
And that is the Junkyard in the middle of a pouring rain.
And so he has both Gumball and Himself waiting in a broken car for a surprise.
“Ok, so where’s the surprise?” Gumball asked.
“He should be here any minute.” Darwin replied.
Causing Gumball to be confused about what his brother just said.
“He? Thought there was gonna be a cake or something.” Gumball said with a annoyed tone of voice.
So it was now time for Darwin to reveal what he is actually planning.
“The surprise is gonna be better then a cake. I’m giving you, reconciliation with your father.” Darwin said to his brother.
“Aw man, should’ve known it would be something lame then that. Nobody wants to eat cake in a junkyard. Go on tell me the plan then.” Gumball said to the fish.
“It’s simple. We get picked up by that magnet, and get dropped into that building where they turn cars into cubes.” Darwin said while pointing at the things.
This caused Gumball to be scared of that plan.
“What? Are you insane?!” Gumball yelled with a scared tone.
“And I called Mr Dad to come and rescue us.” Darwin said in a weirdly calm tone of voice.
This causes Gumball to become more scared of that plan then ever.
“What? Are you insane?!” Gumball yelled at Darwin again.
“Don’t worry. I can stop it at anytime with this on button.” Darwin said while showing Gumball a piece of metal with a red button tht says “on” on it
Making Gumball sigh with relief.
“Thought you were relying on dad for a minute there. All right let’s get started.” The Blue Cat said.
And so Darwin pushes the button and this causes the magnet to pick up the car that their on.
But turns out that this was a bad idea as the button sticks to the now magnetised car.
So they try to pry it out but with no luck.
And then after they give up and the magnet reaches to the top,
Gumball looks at Darwin with an angry face.
“Oh great job. What are we going to do?” Gumball asked.
“It’s ok. Here’s Mr Dad now! He’s coming in that car. Hopefully he can use the control box to save us.” Darwin replied
But when they see the car, it seems to be driving normally.
Which makes the two brothers confused as when their dad drives the car, he drives like a flipping maniac
Then they hear another voice.
“Don’t worry boys! We’re coming to save you!”
It was Nicole’s voice.
But they were busy looking at the car crashing into the control box to notice that.

“Here we go, we’re doomed.” Gumball said as it looks like he’s ready to accept his fate.
“Don’t worry, have some faith in him.” Darwin said trying to cheer his brother up.
Then they see Richard exit the car alongside Anais and Nicole.
“I mean, have some faith in him including Mrs Mom and Anais?” Darwin said confusedly.
“What the what? What are they doing here? I thought you said this was only for dad!” Gumball asked in confusion too.
“Gumball! Darwin! Where are you?” Anais asked.
“Up here lil sis!” Darwin yells out.
And so the family runs towards where the brothers are.
“Boys! Oh my god! Are you ok?” Nicole asked in a scared tone.
“Yeah we’re ok mum. But we’re still confused about why you and Anais are here too.” Gumball said.
This causes both Nicole and Anais to have a guilty look on their face.
“Yeah, even after you tortured us with no showers and no proper foods.” Darwin said.
“Hah! I knew you guys were actually torturing my sons behind my back!” Richard said as he points at both Anais and Nicole angrily.
“Alright fine. We’ll tell you two. After Richard told us about what happened, we told him that we were going to ask you two to apologise to him in a proper way. Which means he also asked us to not punish them for it as he still loves you both.” Nicole said.
“Well yeah, I guess that kinda makes sense.” Darwin said.
“But while we did tortured you two behind his back with no showers and/or proper foods. It didn’t take long for him to figure out today that after you guys return from home, we were going to feed you two spoiled meats. Laced with snail eggs.” Anais said.
“Ew! That’s gross!” Darwin said out of disgust.
“And how could you not notice the foods that Mum and Anais gave us for the past few days Dad?” Gumball asks his father.
“Sorry, I think it was the cheese that made me realise what they’ve been actually up to.” Richard said.
“Anyways, he was so angry that he decided that he was going to have a talk to you two in hopes that you both will reconcile with him. But then we found out you guys were at the junkyard hoping that Richard will save you two. Which I think is nice.” Nicole said.
“So Mum panicked and got me and Dad into the car and rushed to the junkyard without any hesitation.” Anais said.
“So, does that mean you two are sorry for torturing us?” Darwin asked.
“Well before we tell you that we have something to tell you.” Anais replied.
“What is it?” Gumball asked.
“How are we supposed to get up there?!” Anais replied with a scared tone
“Oh, I don’t know. How about Dad gets us down by using that ladder down there?” Gumball said while pointing at the ladder that’s right next to Richard.
“Oh, uh, ok.” Richard said.
So he grabs the ladder and runs to where Gumball and Darwin are.
“Go dad!” Anais cheered.
“Yeah! Go save our boys!” Nicole also cheered.
But after running to the magnet, this causes the ladder to get pulled into the now magnetised car.
“Wow. Really thought it would pull through didn’t ya?” Gumball asked with sarcasm.
“Oh.” Richard said with sadness.
Then Darwin notices that both Nicole and Anais are giving them the angry look again.
So he looks at Gumball with anger in his face.
“What is wrong with you? Don’t you know people have feelings? He’s trying to help us.” Darwin said to Gumball angrily.
“Well, great job what he’s doing so far.” Gumball said with sarcasm again.
But Darwin still gives him the angry look.
“You are so insensitive! Would it really hurt you more to encourage him once in your life?” Darwin yells at his brother.
“Ooh. That’s gotta burn right mum?” Anais asked Nicole while waiting what’s going on.
“Yeah, though I’m really not that surprised that Gumball is that insensitive to other people’s feelings. Which includes Richard’s.” Nicole replied.
“Well I’m sure Dad wouldn’t mind encouraging us more when we were younger.” Gumball siad while still being sarcastic.
“Don’t worry kids! I have an idea!” Richard says as he puts his hands on the lever.
“Wait! Dad stop! I don’t think-!” Anais tries to warn Richard about something.
But it was too late as he pulls the lever.
Causing the magnet to drop the car and ladder.
With both Gumball and Darwin screaming.
“Aah! Sorry!” Richard said after realising what he has done.
So after slapping him in the face, Nicole pulls the lever back to the top.
Causing the car and ladder to go back to the magnet.
With Gumball and Darwin still inside.
But then the control box breaks much to the family’s worries.

And this causes the magnet to pull all of the iron materialised stuffs into it.
But this causes Richard to think of an idea.
“That’s what I meant to do.” He said.
So with courage he runs back to where the two brothers are
And starts climbing the hordes of items like it was a ladder.
“Great job Mr Dad!” Darwin said happily.
“Yeah your’e doing great!” Anais also shouted happily.
“Thank you!” Richard said.
But then he nearly falls due to holding onto a filing cabinet.
While Gumball still acts sarcastically as ever.
“Yeah, great job. You want to save us before we save you?” Gumball asked sarcastic while clapping.
Making Darwin more angry at his brother
But thankfully Richard manages to escape death and climbs up to the top.
But not before his clothes gets ripped in style.
“Saving us in-.” Gumball tries to say sarcastically again.
But not before the brothers sees that the rope holding on the magnet is going to break.
“Boys!” Nicole screamed.
“Gumball! Darwin!” Anais also screamed at the sight of it.
And this causes Richard to fall off the tower.
“Dad!” Gumball and Darwin said while worrying that their father is dead from the fall.
And even though Nicole and Anais are glad that he’s still alive,
Gumball and Darwin starts to cry because with him gone,
Now there’s no chance that their ever going to be saved from the magnet.
Mainly Gumball.
As he starts to feel guilty about laughing at his father and not being proud of him.
For the stuffs he went through to raise both him and Darwin when they were young.
And now, he’s never going to get the chance to tell his father that he is proud of him,
For being his father.
Or is there.

As suddenly Richard managed to climb all the way up the car.
“Hey there my sons.” He said to the two brothers.
“Dad!” Both Gumball and Darwin said happily,
Realising that he’s still alive.
And so they both hug him while also wondering how their gonna get down from there.
“So Dad. How are we going to get down from there?” Gumball asks.
But before Richard has an idea how to, suddenly the rope suddenly snaps,
Causing the magnet, the car and the ladder to fall into the compactor where they turn everything into cubes.
Much to Anais and Nicole’s worries for them.
But luckily Richard was able to hit the ground with Darwin falling on him.
“You could’be used the mattress.” Richard siad to Darwin while feeling like his balls have been hit.
And upon seeing that their both safe, both Nicole and Anais runs to them.
“Oh my god. Darwin are you ok?” Nicole asks.
“Yeah, I’m ok Mrs Mum.” The fish said happily.
“Wait a minute? Where’s Gumball?” Richard asked upon realsing that their missing one.
“Help!”
“Look!” Anais said while pointing at something.
It was Gumball trying to escape the compactor by first getting off the car and walking through the ladders.
But he can’t do it since he’s too scared.
So this causes both Richard and Darwin to run to where Gumball is.
While Anais and Nicole watches on nervously.

Seeing that Gumball is too scared, Richard decides to do the next great thing.
Being a encouraging father to his sons.
“Gumball! You can do it!” Richard said to his son while trying to encourage him.
But then Gumball falls down on the ladder while still being scared.
“I-I can’t do this!” Gumball said being scared.
“Come on son, you have to get up.” Richard said with a encouraging tone of voice.
but Gumball was still too scared.
“I-I can’t!” Gumball said with a scared tone of voice.
“Come on son! You can do it!” Richard said loudly.
This causes Gumball to remember that his dad said the same words to him when he was learning how to walk as a baby.
And as he flashes back to that wonderful time between father and son, this gives Gumball the courage to run to his dad.
“I’m coming dad! Don’t let you down!” The blue cat said to his dad.
“I won’t!” Richard said loudly.
And so he runs,
As his mind keeps flashing back to when he was walking to his dad as a baby to now,
Gumball knows that despite himself growing up,
His dad will always be his hero.
And then with one single word “JUMP!”.
Gumball jumps into Richard’s hands.
Then after that, both father and son cry to each other while hugging.
Finally being able to express how much they both love each other.
“Please don’t cry dad! You’ll always be my hero!” Gumball said to his father while crying.
“It’s not you son. It’s that your digging your claws on my nipples!” Richard said while also crying.
Then Darwin joins in crying.
“Why are you crying?” The pink rabbit asks.
“Because I love hugs!” Darwin replied.
“Yeah, us too!” Nicole said as she and Anais also cries.
“Come here!” Richard said to his whole family
And so the entire Watterson family hugs each other while crying as the rain stops and the sun appears.

Then after their out of the Junkyard, both Nicole and Anais approaches both Gumball and Darwin.
“Boys. We’re so sorry for torturing you to with no showers or no proper foods.” The mother said to her two sons.
“Here, a reward for proving to us that your dad will always be your hero.” Anais said as she gives her two brothers cupcakes.
But before they can eat it, Gumball looks at them with suspicion.
“Hey. Aren’t these cupcakes laced with maggots or spider eggs?” He asked.
“Nope. Their just regular strawberry iced cupcakes.” Nicole said.
“Well, okay. If you say so.” Gumball said.
And so after the two boys have a bite, they realise that due to the fact that they’ve been eating a lot of spoiled food for days,
They’ve forgotten that cupcakes actually tastes really good.
“Wow! This is actually really good!” Darwin said happily.
“Yeah, thanks for caring about our well-being’s and getting us actual food.” Gumball said to both Nicole and Anais.
“You’re welcome my son.” Nicole said happily.
“Now come on, let’s go home so that I can help you two draw a picture of Dad being a hero to all of us.” Anais said to her two brothers.
“Ok.” Darwin said.
“Seems fair enough.” Gumball said.
And so the Watterson Family walks on the road back to their house.
As the sun was still out and a rainbow was in the distance as well.
And while walking, Gumball has a newfound apprection to his father.
As sure he is not the sharpest or smartest tool in the shed.
Richard Watterson will always be the glue that holds the family together.
He will always be the guy who loves to dance and sleep all day.
As that is what makes him their hero.
