While swimming back to the surface {with the transformation trinket that was given to her by the mermaid queen on her hand}
Laura happily thinks about her friends.
{while not realising that 3 of them just gotten their motivations stolen by a Zen Zen Yara-Neda. And the other one is already battling one of the Witch of Delay’s workers.}
“I need to hurry back. They’re probably worried. We’ll have even more fun then before doing club activities. And we’ll tropical-shine every day.” The mermaid said to herself.
But then suddenly she sees something in the distance that shocks her.
It was Manatsu in her Cure Summer form fighting Chongre underwater.
And appears she’s losing.
So this causes Laura to swim faster in hopes of saving her friend.
While hoping she’s not too late.

Meanwhile Cure Summer was in a losing fight.
Never knew a chef crab would be that strong and powerful.
“Let’s wrap this up already.” The chef said.
And so he releases a boulder from his claw and shoots it at the rainbow cure.
Which results in Cure Summer getting hit by the attack while having no time to dodge.
“Summer?!” Laura said in a worried tone upon witnessing her friend getting attacked.
And to make matters worse,
The boulder attack causes Cure Summer to immediately transform back into her normal form.
And realising that with no air her friend’s gonna drown.
Laura swims faster to Manatsu and was able to catch her.
But now she’s in a bit of a pickle because since Chongre is still here, she won’t have time to take her friend to the surface.
And even if she did, the 2 Zen Zen Yara-Nedas would see them and drain Manatsu’s motivation energy for the second time.
All she could do was look at her friend as Manatsu began to inhale a lot of water and starts to lose consciousness.
“How awful. Come on, Manatsu! Don’t give up!” Laura said afraid for her friend’s life.
Hearing this {while still hearing the ambience sound of the water} causes Manatsu to realise that her mermaid friend is here.
So she gives her one last tropical-shine smile,
Before eventually she blacks out in front of Laura.

“Manatsu. Manatsu!” Laura said in disbelief.
This causes Chongre to realise that the mermaid they trapped {alongside the seal Kururun} is freed
“Oh? Why’s the mermaid here? Did you escape the Witch’s mansion?” The chef asked the mermaid.
Laura tries to ignore what he said but the crab keeps on going.
“Humph, she should’ve ignored it. Look where trying hard got her. Looks like the others also tried for naught. They completely failed. Sheesh. I’m not feeling this.” Chongre keep saying to the mermaid.
This causes Laura to be really mad at him.
“How dare you.” She said quietly but angrily.
This causes a ring to appear on her hand without her or the crab noticing it.
“Manatsu and everyone, were hurt by you. I won’t let this slide!” Laura said angrily to the chef.
This causes the rock that she was carrying to break and transform into a transformation trinket for Laura.
And so Laura uses this to both give her legs and transform herself into the 5th legendary cure.
Called Cure La Mer. {because we already have a Cure Mermaid in Go! Princess Precure}
“Swaying ocean! Cure La Mer!”

After the introduction, Cure La Mer has a fight with the chef while also holding Manastu’s {hopefully} unconscious body.
And even though it was hard to fight someone while also holding someone in the process.
The blue cure was able to take him down by kicking him back up to the surface.
And back onto the cruise ship that was being hijacked by 2 Zen Zen Yara-nedas.
While hoping that her friend is ok, Cure La Mer sees that Nerumi is here too.
“Oh, my. A new Pretty Cure?” The doctor asked.
But she just ignored her, as Cure La Mer uses her mermaid aqua pot to retrieve the motivation energy back from the two Zen Zen Yara-nedas.
And uses it to give it back to everyone {including Sango, Minori and Asuka} on this cruise ship.
This causes the other cures to see that Laura has also become a Pretty Cure.
“Is that Laura?” Sango asked.
“She became a Pretty Cure.” Minori also said in confusion.
“All right! With Laura transformed, we’re like 100 peo-“ Asuka tried to say.
Before suddenly the other cures sees Manatsu being unconscious.
And when they go up to her, Minori realises that their leader isn’t breathing and might’ve drowned underwater.
But luckily Cure La Mer shows up.
“Laura!” The other cures said.
“It’s Cure La Mer. But I’m glad that you guys are ok too. Just wish I would say the same thing about Manatsu.” The blue cure said.
“So what should we do?” Asuka asked.
“You guys take care of the Yara-nedas. I’ll try and find a way to have our friend start breathing again.” Cure La Mer replied.
And so with that the 3 other friends transforms into their respective cures.
“Pretty Cure Tropical Change!”
With Sango transforming into Cure Coral, {with her charm point being cheeks.}
Minori transforming into Cure Papaya, {with her charm point being eyes.}
And Asuka transforming into Cure Flamingo. {with her charm point being hair.}

And so with that the 3 cures do their best to hold off the monsters,
While Cure La Mer tries desperately to find a way to get her friend to cough up a lot of water.
So she tries to wake her up by pushing on her chest.
What she doesn’t know was that pushing on Manatsu’s chest was the first part of doing CPR>
But she was too worried about her friend dying to even know about it.
Until eventually after pushing on her chest 30 times, this causes Manatsu to finally wake up.
And began to cough up a lot of water from her lungs, much to Cure La Mer’s relief.
And hearing their leader cough causes the 3 other cures to notice that she is awake and are also relieved for her.
So with that and the possibility that their friend might be too tired now.
Cure La Mer has a chat with the others.
“Now that Manatsu’s awake and breathing again, I’m gonna take down the Yara-Neda right there.” She said while pointing at the Lifering monster.
“All right. Then we’ll take this one.” Cure Flamingo said while pointing at the other one.
“No, you guys stay here and make sure that Manatsu’s ok. While I take down the both of them. Ok?” The blue cure asked.
And so after the 3 cures nodded their head at that decision, Cure La Mer runs off to take down the two monsters.
With Manatsu taking a glimpse of what’s going on here.
Before eventually she passes out from exhaustion.

Meanwhile, Cure La Mer was able to outsmart to the two monsters,
By both putting a cover to cot her one of the Yara-Nedas,
And reflecting the Lifering back to the monster who threw it, without getting caught by one.
While also landing a kick on both of them.
Until eventually she uses the transformation trinket to deliver a final blow on them.
“Pretty Cure Twister La Mer Stream!”
Then after she says “Victory!” While doing a exotic pose.
The two Zen Zen Yara-Nedas explodes.
Causing them to revert back to the items they were created from.
While the two villains are not happy with this.
“What? I ain’t feeling this. There’s another now.” Chongre said with an annoyed tone of voice.
“How unfortunate. It was going so well.” Nerumi also said with a annoyed tone of voice.
Until they disappear back to the lair of the Witch of Delay.

A few minutes later, everyone {except for Manatsu} transforms back to their normal form.
While also waiting for their leader to wake up after passing out from exhaustion.
And when she does wake up, the leader sees that her friends are really happy to see that she is still alive,
After drowning underwater.
“Hey guys. What happened? Did we beat the monsters?” She asked.
“Of course we did. With the power of friendship.” Sango replied.
“And with the help of Laura who became a Pretty Cure.” Asuka also replied.
“Yeah, she does really well as Cure La Mer.” Minori also replied.
But then they all see that causes them to be shocked.
As it turns out that the transformation Trinket not only have Laura gain a cure form,
But it also causes her wish to become a human to come true.
“Laura, your legs!” Manatsu said in shock.
This causes the mermaid to look and see that she indeed got legs.
“I became a human!” She said while blushing uncontrollably.
“Yeah!” The 4 other cures said.
This causes Laura to be really happy about it.
And even though it is hard to learn how to walk when she’s not a cure.
But ultimately she was able to hug her friends and jump in the air in excitement,
While her friends laugh with her in joy too.
As even though she nearly lost the friends she had.
Laura was glad that she saved them by becoming a cure and gaining some legs in the process.
And that’s what all that matters to her right now.
“Hooray!”
