Summary
He was tired. His limbs hung heavy from his joints, and it wasn't only that, it was the world that pressed down on him. Cold air cut into the back of his throat and dried it out at the same time. His eyelids hung low and his heartbeat was prominent, and yet somehow just once more he wanted to see the sun crack through the leaden clouds. Just once more. Spill its white warmth upon his broken body, and perhaps find ease in a few drops of water dripping from cones onto the tip of his nose. Just a single more time.
