Beckman looks up from where he’d been digging to find the small case for his cigarettes that he’d managed to sneak into one of his inside pockets. It takes him a few seconds, though, to actually place who he’s looking at.
Crocodile had been the one to speak, looking somehow even more imposing than he often does. The other, who looks far more bored, and as though he would prefer nothing less than being there, is Smoker.
“Ah,” Beckman says, “the smoker’s club, then.”
