Work Text:
Neither Hollis or Abi would ever admit what the fireworks meant to them, they had been together, quietly, for years, both working seperately and only coming together when they were home alone.
Now, watching the New Years fireworks, Abi finds peace as she curls closer to Hollis, watching her face in the flickering light. Both women have been through a lot, of course, but now, here, peace is all they feel. Life has settled down for them both and, without Gibbs pushing into their world, they find it easier to rest and relax. Home is a feeling and home is what they find with one another.
