It comes as a surprise when Elle pushes herself up to her feet and walks away, leaving Emily stuck in the bondage. She’d been sure that Elle would call in for them both but she’s soon aware that Elle went to work and left her there.
Penelope, when she lets her out, smirks, teasing her even as she unlocks the cuffs that Emily had let Elle use to keep her in bondage. The two had been friends for years but she had never really meant for Penelope to learn this secret.
Elle apologizes to her later, admitting she had responded childishly to Emily teasing her and regressing enough to forget to communicate her hurt. Emily, despite her embarrassment, smiles a little, pulling her into her arms and kissing her gently.
“I forgive you... this time.”
