   Summary

   Kyojuro didn’t remember much from the beginning. He’d felt himself being dragged away from the gift of a well-deserved afterlife and the comfort of his mother’s smile. And then, there had been pain. Pain and cruelty and a living Hell.

   He was supposed to be dead. His story was supposed to have been finished. But now, as he sat bound and gagged, looking up at the same demon who’d tried to send him to his eternal grave … he was positive things were only going to get worse for him. Why was this demon so surprised to see him though? And why was he so hesitant to accept Kyojuro as the perverse sort of gift he was being offered as?
