Chapter Text
First day of highschool should be exciting but for Linka Loud it is a disaster. The snow haired girl quickly rub sunscreen on her face and rush downstair with her bag. "I'm gonna be late!" The teen shouted while tapping her phone's keyboard to send a quick chat to Claudia. The teen blamed Luke late night concert, that she couldn't get any sleep and end up waking up later than usual. Her brother Lynn doesn't even wake her up, she's just thankful that Loki is home because it's his day off. "Loki! Can you take me to school?" The snow haired girl asked, placing back her phone inside her skirt pocket. The blond man who was previously sipping on his warm mug of coffee place down his mug and raise a brow at her. The older sibling look unamused to see the snow haired girl right now. "What are you still doing here Linka? Shouldn't you have gone with Lynn half an hour ago?" The oldest brother asked.
"Luke guitar concert mess up my sleep schedule. The others didn't even bother to wake me up! Can you pleaseee drive me to school?" The white haired teen pleaded.
"What's in it for me?" The blond man smirked.
"You'll be the best brother ever." Linka tried to boost Loki's ego to get a free drive to school.
Loki shook his head, "Yeah that's not gonna work for me Linka. You see... it's my day off. I was planning to visit Rorry soon. If I drive you to school, that means I wasted my fifteen minutes of day off on you."
The teen sighed loudly before placing back her business smile she always use to convince her parents to buy her something she wanted, "Okay, fine, how about this? You drive me to school and I will help you out on selecting gift for Rorry's birthday. You hate the mall. I can help you shop instead! It's a win-win situation." Linka negotiated. The blond haired man hummed and frown, "Fine. Wait outside, I'll grab my car key." Loki ordered as he placed his empty mug on the sink.
Linka quickly went outside. The good thing about having an older brother is that Loki not only can drive a car, but he also have his own car so that Vanzilla isn't the only vehicle to be relied on. As soon as the first child of the loud family walks out and unlock the car, Linka jumps into the front passanger seat. Loki sighed as he get in the driver seat. "I didn't hear a thank you, Little sis." The blond haired man stare at his younger sister. The teen wanted to say that she didn't even get a free ride from the blond man but decided to throw that idea out before Loki change his mind and refuse to drive her to school. "Thanks Loki, you are the best." The snow haired girl said.
The whole ride to school is filled with anxiety for the snow haired girl. Linka took out a pocket mirror to re-check her hair for any messy strands and re-adjust her orange hair clips. "You look fine, stop checking your looks. And why did you bring a mirror to school anyway? Does teens your age care about their look so much?" The driver or older brother scoffed.
The snow haired girl place back the pocket mirror and glare the older sibling. "High schools is filled with gossipers, first day of high school is a big deal. First impression is everything. Once they think you are gross, you are forever gross and become a social outcast." Linka explained.
Loki chuckled, "You made it sounds like a death sentence." amused of his younger sister's imagination.
"It might as well be." Linka commented and roll her eyes.
"You are overthinking it. Now get out of my car, I have places to be." Loki parked his car. Linka grumbled and get out of car and run towards the entrance door. The hallways are empty, that's how late she arrive to school. "Thanks a lot Luke." The teen muttered under her breath. Her mind already forming a revenge plan and hopefully Lane will help her on getting back on the guitar player. Lane should also be annoyed with his roommate. Not eating breakfast also didn't help the snow haired teen with her mood along with how far her class is located. Linka is glad that she asked Claudia to save a spot for her. While navigating her way to her destination, the orange jacket teen bump into someone on the other hallway. "Sorry." She quickly apologized. "Lame-o?" A deep voice said with amused tone.
Linka look up at the person with unfamiliar face. Dark skin, raven hair, purple hoodie- "Ronnie Antonio?!" The orange jacket teen yelped. Ronnie A. Santiago, her old bully from elementry school. The orange jacket girl already felt her skin crawling just by remembering the flashback of when she got a black eye for punching the boy.
"Still look lame as ever, Lame-o." Ronnie commented.
"Ugh, I don't have time for this," the orange jacket teen said and walk away from the other boy to reach to her class. Upon entering the class her anger got washed away when eyes stare at her. "You are late Miss...?" "Loud. Linka Loud. Sorry sir, My brother keep delaying to drive me to school." The white haired girl lied and smiled.
"I hope this tardiness won't be repeated Miss Loud. Go and take a seat." The homeroom teacher said, the teen didn't need to be told twice to walk and sit on the empty chair next to her bestfriend. "Thanks Claudia." "No problem, Link."
"Also, not to ruin your mood but I heard Ronnie is back in town and enrolled to our school." Claudia informed.
"Don't remind me. I just bump into him on my way here." The orange jacket teen sighed. Claudia pat her shoulder with pity. The orange jacket teen could already feel that her school year will soon be worse, now that she know Ronnie enrolled to the same school. Recess, the duo walkout of the classroom and went to find the canteen. "Lame-o!" An irritating voice called out, the purple jacket teen slide on his skateboard to catch up with the white haired girl. Linka halted and frown when she saw Ronnie. "Keep on frowning, Lame-o. Might as well get early wrinkles to match your greying hair." The purple hoodie teen added.
"Cut it out, Ronnie. You know that Linka have white hair from genetics." Claudia glared.
"Claudia, I am gonna say this in the most polite way ever. Stay out of this. if you know what's best for you." Ronnie stated, Claudia take a step back by the hostile look from the other teen. "Ronnie Ant. You can't treat my bestfriend like that." Linka gritted her teeth.
"Oh? And what are you gonna do about it?" The tall teen loom over. "I'll make your life miserable." Linka answered. "I like to see you try, grey hair." Ronnie replied before skating away.
"Wow, what a jerk!" Claudia said while.the orange jacket teen sighed. "I just dug a hole for my grave." Linka face palmed, it's an instant regret for her.
"Hey, look at the bright side. Lynn is a senior. He can definetly keep an eye out for Ronnie." The green sweater wearing teen said.
"Yeah, for a year. And then the rest two years I will be a practice target." Linka pointed out.
"Riiiiight. Best of luck Link." Claudia said and pat the snow haired girl's shoulder.
Most of the loud brothers are hanging out in tge living room when they got startled by the sound of the front door slam open and shut closed by the only sister in the loud family. "Hi, Linka. How's your first day of highschool?" The fashionista asked without noticing the sour mood of the snow haired girl. The teen ignored the blond haired fashionista and throw her bag across the room, the bag flew and smack Leif in the face. "Ack! What the heck man?!" The red baseball cap boy roared from the couch. Instead of answering the snow haired girl stomped upstairs.
"What's up with her?" Lexx questioned, poibting his thumb at the direction of the stairs.
"Probably it's that time of the month." The young science prodigy commented.
The brothers could hear another door slammed from upstairs. "Hey my dudette! Here for more of my awsome jam?" The rockstar greeted.
"Uh... Dudette is that a-" they all could hear the singer said before his sentence got cut of by a scream of horror, "Not cool, Link- Stop! You'll ruin it!" Luke shouted from upstairs, the loud brothers quickly gathered at the end of the stairs to listen to the ruckus. "Come on bro, that's- One step closer and I'll throw bun bun out of the window Link. I mean it!" the rockstar shouted, threateninv for the only sister to stop whatever she had done upstairs. A loud cracking noise could be heard as if something was thrown to the floor. Loni flinch at the sound, "Geez that sounds terrible. Kinda feel bad for Luke now." The fashionista commented.
"I don't." The jokester said and getting stared by the brothers.
"What? Luke deserve it! His late night concert have driven me craaazy!" The yellow plaid vest young man complained. Lexx nodded, "Totally. I would have burn his guitar if it weren't for the fact that he will wrestle me like a WWE champion." Lexx agreed. It was a known fact in The Loud family that Linka is basically untouchable physically. Because she is the only girl out of eleven siblings, and also they love their sister and don't have the heart to hit her. It doesn't work the other way around though. The snow haired teen can punch their arm when she is furious with them, not that it hurts, but it still sting and in rare times, left a bruise. And the brothers won't treat eachother with that same leevel of kindness. Most arguement is settled by yelling and rough housing.
"Wait... is Linka in a bad mood because of it's the month or because of Luke late night concert?" The baseball cap boy asked for a confirmation. The science prodigy shrugged, "Even I can't read a woman mind, they are an anomaly. My best guest is that Lynn probably gonna be her next target. He did left her this morning."
"Well, I gonna enjoy this." Lexx announced, pleased with the drama.
In conclusion, Luke suffer with his guitar got plastered with waterproof very sticky coquette theme stickers, the instrument strings are painted in neon pink color with nail polish. The mini bluetooth speaker got thrown but luckily didn't break. Lynn on the other hand found his basket ball popped and hockey stick painted soft pink and filled with sticky hello kitty stickers that is hard to scrape off.
Over dinner the brothers still notice that the orange jacket teen is in a bad mood. "So.... is there any reason you are acting like this?" The oldest sibling asked.
"Ignore me, I am fine." The only sidter said under her gritted teeths.
"Seriously what's up with you, little Dudette? You ruined my awsome looking guitar. Now it look like a rockstar wannabe guitar!" The singer complained.
The sport lover rolled his eyes, "You think yours bad? You should seen my hockey stick! It's pink! How am I gonna strike fear during my hockey match with a pink hockey stick?!"
"Sigh." The gothic brother expressed.
"You wanna know why? Your stupid concert made me late. And you purposely didn't wake me up when you are on your way to school! Your actions have cost me meeting that jerk, Ronnie Ant!" The brothers are silent to process the bloke's name. instead of getting angry at the snow haired teen, Luke and Lynn is angry at Ronnie Ant.
"The same poor guy that got his teeth fall out from your punch?" Lexx brought up.
"He ain't that bad, you can just smack his teeth out again, dudette." The guitarist suggested, the sport lover also nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, If I wan't a repeat black eye." Linka rolled her eyes.
"No worries, if he approach you. I can always tackle him-" "No. You'll make it worse." The orange jacket teen tejected Lynn's offer.
"I'll handle this and you all stay out of this!" Linka slammed her fist on the table before walking back to her room.
