Summary
A young orphan named Violet, grieving the loss of her mother, arrives in the remote Town on the Gorkhon river seeking refuge with distant relatives. Taken in by the Burakh family, she finds solace and friendship amidst the harsh beauty of the steppe. A deep bond forms with Artemy, the son, their shared experiences blossoming into unspoken love.
