Summary:

After six months, Vash and Wolfwood’s paths cross once again. In a time of love and peace the only conflict they’ll face is their long-held feelings for each other.

Notes:

BEFORE YOU READ!!!

In case you haven’t gotten it from the title or the tags this is a fanfic where wolfwood does not die in Trimax Vol. 10 or ever really and instead he gets to live with the love of his life Vash the Stampede (so sugoi!!!!!!!)
This is intended for readers who have read all of Trigun Maximum if you haven't. I suggest you finish Trigun Maximum and then read this fanfic, as I really wouldn’t want to spoil one of my favorite mangas of all time, even though this is an au it contains heavy spoilers for the latter half of Trimax.
This is my first published work, if you wish to send criticism then you are welcome to, I hope you enjoy reading this tale of horrifically homosexual proportions.

Chapter Text

Nicholas D. Wolfwood, known by the Gung-ho Guns as Nicholas the Punisher and Razlo the Tri-Punisher of Death who is the alternate personality of Livio the Double Fang Wolfwood’s childhood friend, are locked into a deadly conflict.

It seems like Wolfwood has the upper hand taking out two of Razlo’s Punishers and injuring him hard enough to overwhelm Razlo’s regeneration. He can’t keep up with Wolfwood’s attacks but Wolfwood shortly before his onslaught he had taken 2 healing vials at once. Wolfwood then felt a sharp pain in his body, he had almost reached his limit. Razlo, seizing the opportunity, tries to tear Wolfwood’s heart out but unexpectedly Livio manages to stop Razlo from killing him within the confines of their shared mind. Unbeknownst to either of the Punishers Chapel their mentor in the Eye of Michael who was thought to be dead, fires a single shot of his own Punisher with his last bit of strength remaining, intending to kill both his former students. Livio taking control of Razlo pushes Wolfwood away, taking the shot of Chapel’s Punisher. Livio then in a last stand kills Chapel in a barrage of gunfire as he apologizes to Razlo and in his final moments says his goodbyes to both him and Wolfwood. Wolfwood together with Vash bury Livio’s body next to his Double Fangs and Razlo’s last Punisher as confetti rains down below. Wolfwood looks at the grave of his long-sworn brother, holding back his tears. “Welcome home, ...Crybaby Livio”
