Chapter Text
Edgar was known to have pretty out of control emotions. If he was mad you could practically feel the anger radiate off of him and if he was sad he'd let you know by constantly complaining and whining about whatever new problem he had.
And more often then not, he felt sad and was usually lethargic and unmotivated during brawls. But on the days that he was absolutely fumming he would be highly competitive and cocky about his skills.
Today was one of those days. But today be seemed particularly out of control. He was taunting every single opponent, throwing sarcastic insults left and right and blowing up at any teammate that made the slightest mistake. Safe to say that he was getting on everyone's nerves.
After putting up with Edgar for a few more rounds and there still wasn't any sign of him calming down his teammates, Emz, and Collette, decide to finally confront him.
In-between rounds other brawlers were recovering from injures, resting, or chatting but Edgar was standing alone with his arms crossed and was tapping his foot anxiously while seemingly analyzing the other brawlers. Emz and Collette agree this would be a good time to approach him

"Hey Edgar! How ya doing?" Collette asked chipperly with a smile
"Ugh, like you even care! Why are you guys even talking to me??" Edgar instantly snapped back while turning to face his teammates
Collettes expression instantly changed
"THIS" Emz retorted back while gesturing to Edgar "this is why we're talking to you."
Edgar scoffed "I dont know what you're talking about."
"Oh my god are you kidding me? Your attitude has been out of control the whole day!"
"Ugh whatever! I'm just trying to win!"
"You can win without being a total toxic jerk"
Edgar's face was turning red and he was about to start yelling but Emz spoke before he could
"Look, if you can't calm down we're kicking you off our team!"
"WHAT? YOU CANT KICK ME OUT!"
"Uhh like yes we can, it's 2 against 1"
He turned to Collette
"Are you seriously going to let her kick me out, Collette?
Collette only shamefully looked at her feet
"UGH THIS IS SO UNFAIR!" Edgar screamed as he kicked the dirt around him, catching the attention of other nearby brawlers.
"IF YOU GUYS DONT WANT ME HERE THEN FINE! IM LEAVING!" he hissed at Emz
As he stormed off he purposefully bumped into Emz's shoulder causing her stumble back
"Oh my gosh are you okay?" Collette hurriedly said as she rushed to help emz regain her balance
"Uh yeah I'm fine, I'm just glad that freak is finally leaving." Emz replied
Collette said nothing and only watched Edgar walk off with a twinge of guilt in her mind.
