1945 February.
Bucky rememberd falling.
He rememberd seeing Steve's face, he was yelling something but the sound of the wind was all he could hear.
He remembered falling hard, and somehow he survived.
He remembered laying in the snow unable to move.
He slipped in and out of consciousness for a while, three days, maybe four?
He remembered being dragged by soilders, they were speaking German.
He understood bits and pieces, but the pain from his arm distracted him from paying attention to what they were actually saying.
The next time he woke up he remembered even more pain and the sound of a saw.
Bucky woke up in a small prison cell, one of the walls being completely made out of metal bars, the cell was dirty and there was only a small square window too far up for him to reach.
Mold covered almost every corner.
He was laying on a metal cot that was hanging from a wall, the thin mattress didn't make it any more comfortable.
(I decided to make chapter one longer instead of adding it as a separate part🙏)
