   Summary

   Reaching the ruins of her home, she saw the trapdoor to the basement buried under debris, and she remembered just how effortlessly that titan had lifted the ruble out of the way to get to her mother; carefully she tried to move the debris. With a lot of force and effort, she pushed the ceiling beam off the trap door and she had to stop herself from crying.
   “I’m strong enough, Mom,” Eren thought, tears burning in her eyes, "I can save you now…”

   Eren is captured by Reiner and Bertholdt and after they manage to avoid the Scouts, Eren is taken away. Reiner and Bertholdt work to try and prevent Eren from getting eaten by one of their Warriors, and Eren has to learn how to live in the world that her father knew and face the reality that she will never see her home again.
