   Summary

   I was born in the depths of fire and earth to a mother who had already lost a child and a father who raped her. I was born with grain wrapped around my heart and the withering roses burning my skin. The day I began to die was the day I chose to walk the Earth one final time before I was cased out. I know now I was nothing but a child who had everything stripped away for a blood path. And yet, now I am queen, but at what cost? He loves me no matter how much I hurt myself and him.
