Chapter Text
An unknown goddess has prepared a large room with a lot of sofas and a giant screen.
“Everything is perfect. I can bring them over now. Can’t wait to meet them.” She was really looking forward to bringing them all. She often watched their exploits in the divine realm, but after viewing their future, she was a little worried about what might happen.
---
Soon after, a flash of lightning appeared in the room with many people in the center.
On the side of the people who appeared.
Almost no one showed any expression of panic or surprise, they were all quite used to the unusual things happening.
"Human, where are you?"
"I'm here, Raon." A redhead appeared with two cat children in her arms. And a dragon flew quickly towards him.
Choi Han, Alberu, Rosalyn, and the two Molans were next to him. All of them looked at him with some degree of accusation.
“Cale, do you know where we are?”
“Why do you ask me?” Cale frowned at Alberu's question.
“Because usually when something happens, it’s your fault …”
Cale was about to dismiss this accusation, but his entire family nodded in agreement. He eventually ignored them. "Now, let's see who is here. Miss Rosalyn, can you do it please?"
"Of course." She quickly summoned her mana.
“I notice the presence of all the members of our family only: all the Dragon-nim, your duchy family, Cage, Taylor …”
As she continued, an uninvited guest approached them.
"Hello, my son! It's been so long since I last saw you!” King Fredo had taken advantage of the disorder to approach Cale and squeeze him into his arms.
"Son?” Duke Deruth approached his SON when he heard the words of this stranger. He had seen it somewhere before but he couldn't remember where.
Cale could already feel a headache coming from the many problems standing around him.
"*Sigh* I'm sure it's the bastard's fault." He ignored the vampire's presence and focused on Rosalyn's words.
Why only his family? The image of a certain madman came to his mind. He really hoped he wasn't there. Already, the presence of this old vampire was not logical, he didn't even consider him a friend, much less a member of his family.
As Cale spoke, everyone moved closer to him. Mostly to protect him, like Choi Han and the Molans. They knew he could be unpredictable and cause all sorts of trouble if left alone.
Eruhaben, who had been exploring the room, came to report his findings to Cale.
"Eruhaben-nim, do you think this could be the work of a god?"
"I am not sure–"
The dragon's words were cut off by the appearance of a person.
“Hello everyone, I am the one who brought you here.”
"... What is your purpose?” Asked the redhead quickly. The others weren't surprised that he was casually talking to a person who could literally be a god. After all, he had just sealed one.
"I want to show you a video about your potential future. There are many possible paths to your future and I would like to show you one. You may be able to change it for the better or ignore it, if it doesn't happen." She quickly continued speaking seeing their wary expression. "I swear I want nothing more than to help you, I promise." She seemed really sincere when saying it. After all, she was.
Now that the question of why they were there was answered, there were still a few other questions remaining.
“What about our world?” Alberu asked.
“Time stands still until you return, don’t worry.”
As soon as he heard that, Alberu quickly sat down on one of the sofas. He will finally be able to rest a little. A real vacation, he could cry with joy !
"Do you have any other questions? This room is completely safe, you can rest perfectly."She tried to coax Cale with that last remark. And it seemed to work just fine.
Everyone's attention had shifted to the redhead who had also joined the king and sat down with the children next to Alberu. "We can't go out and we're not in danger a priori, so we might as well take advantage of this to rest like she said."
Choi Han sat down next to him. Ron, Beacrox, Rosalyn, and the Dragons all gathered around him. Everyone then quickly took their seats.
“Well, now that everyone is settled. You can order as much food and drinks as you want with your mind. Think of something and it will appear in front of you. Then you can ask me whatever you want. Of course, no violence.“
“Excuse me ma'am, can I ask what you are?” The golden dragon couldn't help but ask.
“Eruhaben, are you curious?” She had a mischievous smile on her face.
“Yes.” Of course, what question he was a dragon after all.
"Actually, I am a god, but I have nothing to do with the god of death, he is an idiot. But, I will not tell you what I rule over."
Cage and Cale looked at her as if they had found their soulmate.
“More questions? No? Well, let's get started.”
The black screen flashed to Cale sitting on a rocking chair in his backyard.
It's a normal day in the life of a lazy man.
Since the end of the war barely a month ago, his Hyung had seized power and become emperor. He had given him the idle life he had always dreamed of. Besides, the problems of the White Star and the reconstruction had been completely resolved, so everything was peaceful.
Cale was finally able to rest properly, even though his family had become more protective of him since the famous stabbing incident. Of course, he understood them and didn't blame. And since they always gave him enough freedom or privacy not to complain then he wasn't going to say anything.
Anyway, he was sitting peacefully in his garden of the Super Rock Villa across from his farm. The kittens were with him while Raon and Choi Han took care of the field themselves. After all, they had forced Cale to rest after only an hour of work under the supervision of the kittens.
Doing nothing is the best thing to do. He continued to bask in the sun, even becoming sleepy as everything was so calm.
Everyone wanted to congratulate Alberu on his title as emperor, but the words were lost after "this incident" was cited. They would have hoped to never hear about it again.
The Crown Prince decided to distract himself by bothering Cale. “Dongsaeng, looks like you finally got to have your lazy life.” Even though to everyone these words seemed like he was making fun. The redhead didn't realize it. He was too focused on the screen that finally showed his life's dream. Everyone sighed at the spectacle, calming the atmosphere in the room.
But our beloved Cale couldn't enjoy it for long, as always.
The words raised everyone's eyebrows when they heard an “unlucky bastard” coming from a certain dragon, and a cold feeling ran through everyone, especially Cale.
But something else caught his attention. ‘Beloved? Really?’
