Sodapop’s POV
Ponyboy’s been missing for almost a week. A week!
Me and Darry are really worried. The other night I was at Buck’s place with Dally. While I was at Bucks, I found a sweatshirt with the sleeves cut short on the floor.
It was kind of damp. It looked too small to be anyone's that hangs out at Bucks'. I started looking at it a little more closely and my heart dropped.
It was mine that I gave to Pony last year. It was the one he wore to the drive in that night. I know Dally knows where he and Johnny are.
But y’know Dally, he keeps his trap shut tight when it comes to things like this. I wrote a note for Ponyboy I gave it to Dally despite his protests of “not knowing where he is”. Golly I sure hope that Pony and Johnny are alright.
