He slaps Gallagher’s face with a wing, baring his teeth. It’s hardly intimidating. “If I bring you back to your mansion, you’re gonna lay into me for dragging you along inebriated, or somethin’. You’ll find a way to pin the blame on me either way.” Gallagher sighs. “Stay here ‘til you sober up. I’ll make you somethin’.”
Sober up? Is Gallagher implying that he’s… “I’m not drunk,” he argues lamely.
Gallagher gets up. Sunday falls on the couch with a squawk. Gallagher snorts.
“Yeah. Definitely not drunk.”
Sunday gets drunk. Gallagher waits for him to sober up before fucking him stupid.
