    Summary

    So, as it happens, this is what I think is called a "micro-story". It's very easy to see that it was intended to be far longer and far larger in scope. I wanted to get this in as a challenge entry, however, as it reflects the fact that this idea popped into my mind as soon as I read the description.

    I will follow it up one day with a fantastic adventure story, with bug-eyed monsters and campy space opera. This is not that story, however. The resolution, especially, is not very good at all. What it is, however, is very faithful recreation of a dream I had a while ago.
