Summary
Objectively Jisung knew what was expected of him: small talk and friendly chatting. He was out of practice, only speaking to Chan and Changbin when necessary for work, and Felix when he forced himself into Jisung’s life. Meeting new people never went well for him, still Felix begged Jisung to go to his housewarming party. He wanted to cancel, but Felix was so excited. Felix was used to Jisung withdrawing, but everyone had a breaking point, even Felix. He could see his future; crouched in Felix’s bathroom attempting to keep himself from a panic attack or shutdown, unable to socialise. Yet, as soon as he was inside Felix’s apartment, he met Minho. They click in a way Jisung had never experienced, Minho ignoring everyone else at the party for Jisung, something Jisung finds surprisingly easy. They begin to fall into an easy routine with each other, and Jisung believed for the first time, he might have found someone he could unmask with, someone who would be easy to be with. As the relationship progresses however, Jisung’s begins to spiral, reality always being more difficult.
Autistic Jisung meets autistic Minho at a party. They click together like missing pieces, but Jisung’s trauma never lets anything be so simple.
