   Summary

   They made it out. Mike still didn’t know how or why, but he and MW made it out and they were okay. They were out of the safe room, out of danger, out of the Compound for a few days because of what happened. ‘A brief leave to deal with trauma’ is what Ty had called it, but Mike didn’t really care; all he cared about was the fact that he didn’t have to stay in the Compound and feel trapped there after spending three days literally trapped in a room. What he wanted more than anything was to spend some time with Michael, but he wasn’t sure if the cowboy had gotten any leave. Michael hadn’t been around yet, so Mike assumed it was just that he was still working; he didn’t want to ask, afraid that the answer would be that Michael simply didn’t want to see him.
