Summary
The prank occurred three weeks ago, and Remus is shattered. He was so blinded by rage that he’d started going out of his way to make Sirius’s life hell. (Well, more than usual.)
One day, during charms, the two are paired up for an assignment. They were to learn the Legilimency spell. Sirius is immediately freaked out because he has failed to inform even his closest friends about his home life. They know small details, such as how his relationship with his family isn’t great and that he dreads going back to the manor every summer, but none of the boys know the true horrors that are sewn deep into his roots.
Remus isn’t keen on letting Sirius back in. Though the other knows basically everything that’s ever happened to Remus, he still doesn’t want Sirius invading his head. Remus’s rage combined with Sirius’s hopelessness create an unbearable amount of hurt that neither of them know how to harness. Remus turns to anger while Sirius shuts down completely.
Utilizing his anger, Remus seeps his way into Sirius’s memories and unlocks visions that could’ve taken place in horror novels. What will this make of their relationship? Will Remus betray Sirius the way he did him? What will this exploitation turn into?
