Yuuji’s cheeks are so soft and round. They squish satisfyingly when Choso pokes them with his fingers and kisses them with his overly pursed lips. He keeps going in for kisses. Kissies, as dear Kechizu keeps calling them.
Eso won’t let Choso kiss him anymore, citing his big boy status, and Kechizu only wants to do as Eso does nowadays, so no kissies for him either. Kissies are reserved for the baby only now. Kissies as Yuuji lies sleeping in his bassinet. Kissies when Choso is allowed to cradle him in his arms. Kissies when mama holds him so he may eat.
Eso is holding Yuuji this morning. Choso is leaning over to grab one last kissie from him before he heads off to middle school when Yuuji suddenly turns his head in Choso’s direction right as he makes contact. Kechizu gasps and goes into a giggle fit, shrieking about how Choso’s first real kiss is with the babyyy, ewww. Grinning, Choso grabs Kechizu and deliberately wipes his mouth across his face “to get the kiss off” to the sounds of more shrieking.
