   Summary

   "I lost mom, but Kenny gave me strength. Now I lost Kenny, but no one’s giving me strength. I think maybe I hurt the people around me, and that’s why mom and Kenny left."

   Power was the only way to survive in this shit world. Kenny had taught him that. If you had power, you were untouchable. But Levi had no power. He was weak. Frail. With Kenny, he'd enjoyed the safety of being the brat Kenny the Ripper took in, but now that he was alone, he was fair game, and everyone knew it.

   He was ditched without a word by the one he'd clung to after losing his mother, and now he must deal with a second loss, whilst every day is a struggle to not starve.

   This fic follows Levi’s struggle to survive in the Underground after Kenny abandoned him. It can be read as a standalone fic, but it’s also a side story to my main Because We're Family fic.
