Summary
It's no secret that some people find comfort in the darkness, but you had always found something else. You never complained when the darkness would take you away to another world, a place where you felt truly alive and where you were able to make a friend in the form of a little boy. Of course, nothing lasts forever though.
Years passed and the darkness eventually came back to you, taking you back to that other place and the boy of your childhood. Only, time had passed and things were different now.
