It was just another typical morning at Hotel OJ,
As while OJ was preparing himself for a cup of coffee, he was also waiting for someone to get here.
And that someone is his boyfriend Paper.
And then a few minutes later, OJ sees Paper walking into the kitchen with a yawn and a lot of cuts and bruises on his body.
Causing the hotel manage to be concerned about it.
“Hey Paper, what happened to you while you were sleeping?” He asked Paper as he puts him down on a chair.
“I don’t really know, all I remember was that I was having a nightmare. Then all of the sudden after I woke up, I was in the bathroom trying to cut myself with a glass shard.” Paper replied.
Causing OJ to realise that hi boyfriend had been trying to harm himself.
But why was his nightmare making him do that?
Well it did made him more concerned about it, as not only that,
But Paper was extremely sleep deprived,
Which was proven by the fact that he was sleeping on the table
And OJ had to wake him up by tapping him on the shoulder.
Which startled him for a bit.
“Don’t hurt me!” Paper yelled out.
“Woah, woah it’s just me. You seemed a bit sleepy, so how about you take a rest for the day.” OJ said to him.
“Ok, hopefully I’ll take my mind out of that nightmare.” Paper said as he leaves the kitchen.
And so after that, OJ decides that in order to find out what nightmare his boyfriend was having,
He’ll need help doing that tonight.

So during the day, OJ thought of the best candidates for this help.
First off, he went to Purgatory Mansion to have Marshmallow join the mission.
but when he did arrived at the place, he did get jumpscared by a prank loving ghost Bow.
“Hahaha! Oh you should’ve seen your face!” She said while taking a picture of the hotel manager’s scared face on her phone.
“Very funny Bow, now where’s Marshmallow?” OJ asked.
“Oh, she’s having a tea party with Dough in one of the bedrooms.” Bow replied.
“Thanks, as I need to borrow her for something very important.” OJ said.
And so after stepping inside of the mansion,
He was able to find Marshmallow in one of the bedrooms.
While also interrupting the tea party in the process.
“Would you mind? You know it’s very rude to interrupt someone’s tea party.” Dough said.
“Sorry. Anyways, I need your help Marshmallow.” OJ said.
“With what?” Marshmallow asked.
“Well Paper’s having a nightmare and I need to figure out what it is.” OJ replied.
“Ok, I will help you, since it is Friday.” Marshmallow said.
And so with that the two of them exited the mansion while Marshmallow says goodbye to her ghost friends.
Next up was Microphone,
Who was just watching the latest episode of season 2 in the living room.
So OJ startle her by tapping her on the shoulder.
“Sorry If I scared you but will you help me with Paper’s nightmares?” He asked.
“Sure, I guess.” Microphone replied.
Then after that OJ asked Tea Kettle to help him while she was busy helping Soap clean the hotel.
Which she accept.
And so with all of the allies being recruited,
All they had to do is wait until it is night time when Paper goes to sleep.
And then after that, they all head inside his room and watch as it unfolds.
And so they wait for a few minutes,
Which was a bit boring to some of them.
“Not gonna lie, but this is a bit boring.” Marshmallow said.
“Shush, I just wanna see what happens.” OJ said.
Until eventually they see Paper moving in fear.
Like he was seeing someone or something.
But little did everyone know is that this was only the beginning of his nightmare.

Paper woke up in a dark void filled with nothingness.
It all seemed really familiar to him.
But why?
He didn’t know where he was or why he’s here.
All he could do was shout anyone’s name in hopes they could hear him.
But then after he says OJ’s name,
Suddenly a shadow appears and bomb rushes him onto the ground.
And although it did hurt for a bit,
He was able to get back up from the ground.
Only to see who that shadow was.
“Oh no. Not you again!” Paper said in fear.
With the shadowy figure revealing himself as persona of his trauma from Idiotic Island
Evil Paper.
“Why of course it’s me again. Don’t you remember? I was a split personality of yours after you rejoined.” Evil Paper said.
“But how? I thought I got rid of you with that piano. I thought-“ Paper tried to say while being scared about the whole situation.
“You thought that piano would get rid of me? Well it didn’t, as I waited until the perfect moment to strike. And even though your mind is stable again, I still wished to take control of it. Which will leave you to disappear forever!” Evil paper said while doing an evil laugh.
And even though he wasn’t strong before during the first season,
Thanks to his times at Hotel OJ, he was ready to fight.
“Oh yeah? If you want to take control of my mind so badly? Then how about you fight me?” Paper said to his evil counterpart.
“{evil laughs} This shall be fun. So prepare to lose Paper!” Evil Paper said as he goes into a starting position.
And so just like that they both fight for the control of the mind.
And even though Paper was now stronger then before,
It’s pretty clear that evil Paper won’t go down that easily.

Meanwhile back at the real world,
OJ and the others hears what Paper was saying in his sleep,
And were shocked to realise what was going on.
“Evil Paper’s back? But how?” OJ asked himself.
“Wait who’s that? Is he Paper’s evil twin brother?” Tea Kettle asked.
“No, no. He’s a split personality Paper gotten during his time at Idiotic Island and will only trigger when he gets hit by something or someone says that word to him.” OJ replied.
“Oh, so that’s why he snapped at me after he got hit by a ball.” Marshmallow said {which is a reference to the 11th episode of the first season}
But this pretty much causes Paper to run in his sleep towards the allies and tries to attack them.
But luckily OJ was able to counter it by grabbing Paper and yeeting him onto the ground.
“Glad I didn’t forget that “Idiotic Island was the trigger word for Evil Paper.” OJ said.
But then they see Paper sleep walking to the first floor of the Hotel.
Much to their confusion.
But this causes OJ to realise something.
That since Paper is having a fight with his evil counterpart,
He goes to hurt himself in the real world.
“Oh no, he’s going to harm himself while in his sleep. We gotta prevent that from happening!” OJ said in a worried tone.
“Ok, I guess you weren’t kidding when we saw a lot of cuts and bruises on Paper’s body.” Microphone said while she and others watches OJ run downstairs.
And so they proceed to do the same thing.
While the hotel manager hopes that they can save Paper from his evil counterpart in time.

When they head downstairs of the Hotel,
They see Paper entering the kitchen.
“Why’s he going to the kitchen?” Marshmallow asked.
“I think he wants to make a sandwich? I guess.” Tea Kettle said.
“Or maybe he’s going to get a kitchen knife out and try to stab himself wih it.” OJ said.
And it was correct as when they all enter the kitchen,
They see Paper go through the drawers and pick out a kitchen knife to try and stab himself with it.
“Holy shit, you were right!” Microphone said in a scared tone.
“What do we do?” Marshmallow also said in a scared tone.
“The only thing we can do, prevent him from getting hurt.” OJ said.
And so the hotel manager runs up to his boyfriend and smacks the kitchen knife out of his hands.
And even though it’s now out of his hand,
Paper’s still pretending to stab himself like it was still in his hands.
Then they hear two different voices coming from him, like he was possessed.
“What’s the matter? I thought you tolerate knifes now.” Evil Paper’s voice said.
“Stop trying to stab me! Or else I’ll just have to kick you in the face!” Normal Paper’s voice said.
And so OJ and the others try to dodge his kicking attack as he continues to sleep walk through the hotel.
As they also prevent him from trying to harm himself in different ways.
Like trying to strangle himelf with a headphone cords,
Trying to hurt himself in the bathroom by using a mirror shard on him again,
Which OJ sees and realises that it already happened last night.
Having Baxter the Crab {who is trying to sleep with Pantbrush in their bed} pinch him in the arm which actually fucking hurts,
And trying to make everyone’s ears bleed by grabbing Microphone and turning the volume on her to the max.
Which both OJ and Marshmallow were able to prevent by tackling him onto the ground.
And so seeing that his boyfriend is in a lot of agony from trying to survive in his nightmare,
OJ decides to help him fight it.
“Hey Paper, listen to my voice. Listen to my voice ok!” OJ tried to say while shaking Paper’s body.
But it didn’t work as suddenly Paper kicks him in the face and proceeds to run up the stairs.
So everyone goes after him.
And once they do, they realise that he is running up to the rooftop of the hotel.
Which is bad since it also has a swimming pool.
And a papers tends to dissolve when in contact with water!

After they get to the rooftop, they were relieved to see that Paper wasn;t going to dive into the swimming pool.
Instead he grabs a closed umbrella and tried to stab himself with it.
“Alright everyone, I think you all might want to cover your ears.” Microphone said ton the others.
And once they do, she was able to make him let go of the umbrella by screaming at the top of her lungs.
But this causes Paper to try and attack the others in his sleep,
While OJ watches as he tries to think of a plan to save his boyfriend from losing to his evil counterpart.
“What can I do? I can’t get through to him and it will only be a matter of time before Evil Paper wins the fight and takes over his mind. What do i do about it?” OJ asked himself.
Then when he takes a look at the pool, he realises what he can do.
Despite the outcome of it.
And so just when Paper was about to hurt one of the allies with a slap in his face,
OJ runs at the back of the pool and gets his attention.
“Hey Evil Paper! Idiotic Island!” The hotel manager shouted.
This causes Paper to hear this and charge at OJ in his sleep.
“I think I just regretted that decision already.” OJ said to himself.
And so Paper tackles his boyfriend with a powerful charge,
Causing the both of them to fall into the swimming pool.
Much to the worries of the others who watched the whole thing unfold.
And so while Tea Kettle goes out to find someone who can actually swim.
Both Marshmallow and Microphone stays behind,
As they hope that the 2 boyfriends will resurface in time.
But little did they know that something bad is going to happened to the both of them.

OJ knew that this was a really bad idea since both he and Paper can’t swim,
And he didn’t have enough time to hold his breathe.
But it was all worth it to try to help his boyfriend in his sleep,
While the both of them began to sink to the bottom.
But it was pretty clear that being underwater is starting to take a toll on the hotel manager.
Considering that his orange juice was starting to be replaced by the chlorine water in the pool.
And even though he tried to swim the both of them back to the surface,
It didn’t take long before OJ started to lose all of the airs he had in his lungs,
As it starts to replace it with the chlorine water which absolutely fucking hurts.
Since it feels like lava was being forced to go inside his lungs,
It hurts so fucking bad.
But luckily, despite all of this, he still holds onto Paper in hopes that he will wake up.
And take them back to the surface,
Then in his last moments of conscious, OJ looks at Paper with a smile,
But not before he proceeds to kiss him on the mouth,
And then he loses consciousness.
As everything went black.

Meanwhile back inside of the nightmare.
Paper was starting to lose the fight against his evil counterpart.
Until eventually, he couldn’t get back up after being hit by a very powerful punch.
And just when things couldn’t get any worse,
Evil Paper picks him up and throws him into a newly discovered ocean in the back of the mind.
And while Paper did resurface after being thrown, it was pretty clear that he was not going to survive at all.
“Enjoy sleeping with the fishes you crybaby. Because once your gone, I’ll finally have the key that unlocks your mind.” Evil Paper said.
So he proceeds to shove Paper’s head into the water and watches as his motions starts to die down,
Since he wasn’t given much time to hold his breathe.
Much to the evil counterpart’s enjoyment.
But then just when Paper was fully drowned by him, suddenly he hears a voice.
“Hey! You leave him alone!”
“Huh? Who’s?-“ Evil Paper tried to say.
And then he gets punched in the face by OJ.
Who was in the nightmare now to save his boyfriend.
Then after the evil counterpart was seemly knocked out by the punch,
OJ proceeded to yeet him into the water.
While also pulling the normal Paper out of it,
Which thankfully saves him from drowning.
As he proceeds to cough up a lot of water he inhaled during that time.
Then after he starts to breathe again, he sees who rescues him.
“OJ? You’re actually here?” Paper asked.
‘That’s right. And like I said to you, I’ll always be there for you no matter what.” OJ replied.
But before the two of them hug each other,
Suddenly they both see Evil Paper resurfacing from the water.
And he looks absolutely pissed about it.
“You idiots! You ruined my chance of controlling Paper’s mind! But luckily for me, I’m water proof, meaning that I can swim back to land and kick your asses! So that I can be able to unlock his mind for real!” Evil Paper said.
“Oh yeah? Well this is what you get for hurting my boyfriend. Knife?” OJ said.
This causes the 2 papers to both see that Knife’s also in the nightmare {for some reason}
As he is standing on the platform which a bunch of items in tow {which kinda mimics how Paper was eliminated during the 2nd episode of the first season}
Then he proceeds to throw a lot of stuffs at Evil Paper.
Which ranges from a bowling ball, a miniature palm tree, Taco {well before she was revealed to be a British spy} and a random dolphin.
“Hey! Why did you throw a dolphin at me you motherfucker!” Evil Paper said in anger.
“Bye bye!” Knife said as he throws one more item at the evil counterpart.
Which turns out to be a piano.
“Oh no. Not again! This won’t be the last time you’ll ever see of m-“ Evil Paper said.
But not before he gets hit by a piano.
Which causes both him and the musical instrument to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
As even though he did claimed that he’ll be back.
It will be impossible since he’s now gone from both drowning in the ocean and being crushed by a piano.
And so after that, it is over.
Evil Paper’s gone now.
“Phew, that’s a relief. For a second there I was going to lose you. Like could you imagine what would happened if I did lose you? It would be really tragic and-“ OJ tried to say to his boyfriend.
But then Paper proceeds to hug him while in happy tears.
As he is so happy to see that the hotel manager was able to save him from his evil counterpart.
“Thank you, for saving me.” Paper said happily.
And this causes OJ to hug him back.
“Your welcome.” The hotel manager said back.
And then just like that the nightmare is over.
But it seems like it was far from over in the real world.

When Paper woke up, he realises that he is now underwater.
But why?
That is when he realises that he must’ve sleepwalked into the pool.
Then he gets scared when he sees that OJ has already blacked out from the water.
But thankfully after he panicked for a bit, Paper remembered what happened in his dreams.
And realises why OJ was inside the pool with him.
It was to simply protect him from nightmares.
so it was time to return the favours.
As even though he was also not a very good swimmer,
Paper tried his best to carry his boyfriend back to the surface.
But it was all for not.
As suddenly he begins to cough up a lot of air at the halfway point.
As he also begins to inhale the chlorine water too.
But thankfully before he could blackout as well.
A hand grabs him and begins to pull both him and OJ from out of the water.
And then.
{Splash!}

When they both resurfaced, Paper was able to cough up all the water he inhaled.
Before eventually he starts breathing again,
Then he feels himself being put back to the ground with OJ {who is still unconscious}
And then it turns out that the person who saved them was none other then Lifering himself.
“Golly gee that was a close one. Good thing your friends told me about everything. Otherwise you two would’ve been a goner.” The lifeguard said to Paper.
“But what about OJ? He’s not breathing.” Microphone said as she and the others check on the hotel manager to see if he’s ok.
“Well step back everyone, as a professional lifeguard, I know CPR.” LIfering said.
And so he began the procedures by doing chest compression on OJ.
While Paper watches and starts to worry about his boyfriend being alive or not.
But thankfully after 15 compressions,
OJ woke up and began to cough up a lot of water he inhaled,
Much to everyone’s relief {Including Paper’s}
With Paper walking up to him and patting him on the back to help him cough up more waters.
And then after that was over, OJ began to breathe normally again.
Until eventually he focuses his eyes on Paper.
“OJ? How are you feeling?” He asked his boyfriend.
“A bit diluted, but okay. And you?” OJ replied.
“A bit soggy but I’m alright too.” Paper also replied.
“Well, I’m just glad that you’re awake now and won the fight against Evil Paper. Because for the longest time I had some kind of a big fear of losing you. But that’s okay because-“ OJ tried to say.
But not before he gets hugged by Paper.
Who is glad that he was able to save him from his nightmares.
“Thank you.” Paper said.
“For what?” OJ asked in confusion.
“For reaching out to me and getting rid of that evil bastard from my mind. I would’ve be a goner without you, disappearing with Evil me taking over my mind. And that’s a fact. So thank you for everything.” Paper replied.
And so upon realising what happened while he was blacked out, OJ proceeded to hug his boyfriend too.
“Your’e welcome. I’m always there for you no matter what.” The hotel manager said.
But then the hug was interrupted when Lifering told everyone that it was time to go to bed.
Which was fine since Paper was having sleep deprivation due to his nightmares.
And now with Evil Paper gone, he can now sleep peacefully.
And so after that everyone heads out of the rooftop and back to their respective rooms.
While Paper is glad that despite everything that happened during the first season.
His boyfriend OJ was there to always save him from his nightmares and comfort him.
And that’s a fact he’ll never forget.
