   Summary

   A year after Ichabod Crane meets his questionable fate at the hands (or pumpkin) of the infamous Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, life takes a strange turn for Anna van der Zee. A protégé of Katrina van Brunt and a member of Sleepy Hollow's Old Dutch social set, Anna suddenly finds herself at the center of her own ghost story when her path crosses with that of the very real Horseman. As she goes through the town's social calendar, she simultaneously starts to unravel secrets and conspiracies—some including her own family.

   And of course, there's the Horseman. Whether he's the one doing the courting, or the one being courted remains to be seen.
