Work Text:

Steve looks over at the man he’s been making eyes from over the rim of his glass. He’d booked this cross-country wine tour as a way of embracing single-dom and proving to himself that he can be happy alone. So, of course, the universe decided to seat him across from the sexiest metalhead he’s ever seen. And of course, he’s kind, funny, and wearing a rainbow bracelet.
“You wanna go back to my cabin?” Eddie asks.
So, what if he failed at proving it to himself?
If he’s lucky, it won’t matter for long.
