Three looks down at the creature sitting on the couch, sucking in a breath, and says, “I didn’t think Sleep would let this slide."
“Yeah, Sleep’s not too happy, but he’s on loan, and we could use the help,” Vessel says. “Right, Aether?” The ghoul looks up, from where he’s seated on the couch, Vessel standing behind him with a possessive hand in Aether’s hair. “Since your Papa doesn’t need you on the road, and all.”
Aether stares at him, assessing, his purple eyes flickering, a little sad. Says, “yeah, I’m just here to help, until Papa needs me back.”
