The sounds of the birds chirping outside Ray Monds window, and sun peeking through the drapes, she slowly begins to wake up from her deep slumber. The silky sheet slowly slides off her body as she sits up, then stretches while a big yawn escapes. Before she can even react to anything, her personal servant: Kitty, opened the double doors.
"My lady, good morning. I hope you slept well" she politely bows, still standing by the doors. Ray Mond gave her a sleepy smile. Kitty begins to walk into her room, closing the doors behind her so they can have privacy while she helps her change into her everyday wear, then she disappears into the bathroom.
Even though Ray Mond is already 27 years old, although Kitty was a year older than her, she felt more comfortable with her there since she is her main servant, the idea of saying servant bothers her, she’d rather say her best friend, or soulmate. Yes soulmate. The reason behind it is when they first met, they both connected with each other. They have been together since Ray Mond was 15 years old, she still remembered seeing Kitty in ragged clothes, dirt all over her face, and now here she is in nice clothing. Before she can keep reminiscing about the past.
Kitty walks over to the tall dark brown dresser creating a loud noise getting the princess to get out of her own thoughts. Kitty grabbed her red halter top, with her black tennis skirt, and the rest of the garments that were needed.
Ray Mond steps out of her king size bed and begins to walk to the bathroom where her bath was already made for her. Stepping out of her night gown and her underwear, Ray Monds beautiful brown hair just about mid-back length covering her breast as she begins to step into her warm bubble bath, a sigh of relief. Kitty grabs the dirty clothes placing it into the laundry bin before assisting Ray Mond with her bath.
Ray Mond giggles when Kitty sits on the stool next to the bathtub.
"You know that you don't always have to help me with everything." She leans slightly forward to grab the loofa by the small table with all her toiletries.
"Ma'am, I vowed to be by your side and help you with anything." She moved Ray Monds hand away and grabbed the loofa herself; she started to assist Ray Mond.
"Yes, I know that! But, I can take care of myself, plus mornings are quiet in this mansion. Why not just enjoy the last bit of the morning before it gets busy?" She begins to feel bad for her since she was taken away from her family. Ray wishes she can help her reunite Kitty with her family again, but a small bit of greed begins to take over as she hopes Kitty never leaves her side. She did enjoy being an independent woman most of the time she does like the idea of being taken care of.
"Who needs time off when I have someone more important to take care of?" Kitty giggles then begins to wash the sides of her arms, armpit, her back then before she can start washing her hair, "Heck, I will do anything for you. I will wipe your ass if I have to!" Ray Mond laugh, then someone clears their throat. Silence takes over before Brekkers speaks.
"Miss Dream! Do not talk to our lady like that!" the nervous tone in his voice while having the nervous posture, scratching the side of his blonde hair.
"Oh come on, Brekkers. You know what, you really got to loosen up! " Kitty looks at him, she gets up and shoo him away out of Ray Mond's sight. She did not care if he saw her naked either, because he is April's personal servant and even though Brekkers is on the nervous and more mature side. Thinking if he can surprisingly be in front of a naked goddess like April and not lay a finger on her, she sure knows he won't do the same for her. Ray Mond continued to wash herself where Kitty left off, after the rest of her body was washed and cleaned. Including her hair. She unplugged the drain, and grabbed the soft bath towel from the towel rack, patting herself dry and now drying her hair with the blow dryer while the towel still wrapped around her. Kitty enters again, surprised she was out already, not knowing how long she was fighting with Brekkers.
Kitty was feeling a bit of sadness because of what Brekkers informed her with April, and other things that will be happening today, she will truly miss Ray Mond.
"I am very sorry that I stepped away so long. Brekkers did not know what to do since April was having a meltdown on one of her favorite tops." Kitty shook her head, "she was sad that her favorite red corset had bleach on it and she did not want to wear anything but that top." Kitty sighed before she braids Ray's hair once it was done being blow dried. Kitty rushed over to the pile of clothes and handed it to her.
"Oh no, so what did you do to help her?" Ray questions as she starts to dress herself, April entering in the bathroom unexpectedly giving Ray Mond a big hug and cries of joy.
"THANK YOU RAY!" Ray stumbled a bit back, confused as hell wondering why she's giving a hug. She still wrapped her arms around her and looked over at Kitty who was a bit nervous then looked away from the two.
"uhhmm you're.... welcome?" Ray Mond hopes she is not going to regret this. As April pulled away she was wearing Ray Monds black corset top she hardly ever wore but she still enjoyed wearing that from time to time. It was black laced top and also had jewels on it as well. She looked at April then Kitty, squinting her eyes as she thought of 'how dare you Kitty!’. April walked out and closed the door behind her.
"Before you kill me!" Kitty puts her arms up in defense, Ray Mond raises one eyebrow, "Keep talking" crossing her arms.
"I will buy you a new one, one where you will always love to wear like how she felt with the red plaid one she always loved. Price does not matter, how far we need ro go get one does not matter, I will buy it with my hard earnings." Kitty sounded a bit nervous. "I can even give you my first child if I need to," she said quickly.
"What the hell Kitty!" Ray laughs lightly before she brings her into a hug. "You owe me lunch, that's it." she released the hug and huffed before she walked out of her bathroom, she grabbed her thigh high stockings that were placed on her already made bed from the maids, she grabbed her black heels placing them on.
Once she left her room, no one was seen on the floor she was on until she reached the middle floor, everyone's attention gravitated towards her. Vinny, one of her father figures, he is also the right hand man for the king. A smile appeared on the man's face giving her a quick hug before he fixed his dress shirt. "Little one, I hope you had a good sleep, and also hope you are ready for today." He straightened his posture a bit as well as hers. Slightly confused on the comment about her being ready for today since she has no idea what is happening. Ramee, Zolo and Zaceed do a quick bow towards Ray Mond before they walk away and give them some privacy.
“What do you mean ready?” She crossed her arms again.
“Well, Mr. K have decided that-” Mr. K interrupted Vinny by entering the hallway they both looked towards him, bowing at him.
“Your highness. I was just about to inform the princess.” Vinny spoked clearly. Mr. K looked back and forth between both of them, he gestured to them to follow him into his office. Ray Mond was honestly nervous about what was happening. Following into the office, he sits onto his chair which is shaped like a dragon. Clearing his throat and inviting them to sit.
“Ray Mond, I hope you slept well.” He leaned onto the desk while his elbows on top of the desk, his chin resting on his hands. “We have been meaning to invite you to the meeting that happened this morning, but we just forgot to come get you.” Mr. K honestly thought he did not even want to bother that Ray Mond was there, since he did know she would create a scene or even worse not get the approval from the king of the clowns himself.
“I did sleep well.” She responded back, her hands resting on her lap as she not once looked away from the king.
“Well, we have something that you need to do for us. For Chang Gang, the King of Little Seoul. We have made a decision for you. Ray Mond. Will be marrying Chatterbox, the prince of the clowns. The ruler of Grapeseed.” Mr. K was serious, he stood up mid conversation walking towards the end of the desk leaning against it, while Ray Mond was still seated, she was in disbelief that those words even came out of the king himself. She thought that they wanted the royalty to be kept in the family already thinking she would have to marry Taco or even one of the knights who protect their kingdom.
“I know it is a lot to take in.” Vinny spoke calmly as he was about to place his hand on hers for comfort, She stood up but when Mr. K gave her a serious look, she sat back down letting out a huff, she knows she should not act towards the king like this but the mortal enemies? Why?
“To answer your questions, before you ask them. Myself and king bobo himself have agreed upon to become allies of one of his sons who happens to be Chatterbox. To take your hand for marriage. We are still planning on when that will be, but I would like you to start packing up your things to get ready to be escorted to the mansion up in grapeseed.” Mr. K stands properly and he looks out the window before speaking again. “We want you to introduce yourself and get comfortable there in Grapeseed. Now I know you want to say things, and I will not allow you too, so get out of my sight.” He waved them off from his office
Ray Mond bit her tongue and she walked out quite quickly, all you can hear was the clicking of her heels hitting against the hardwood floor. She passed everyone that was in her sight not even bothering to greet herself even her brother Taco was trying to get her attention by giving her a snarky comment about her outfit. He will definitely regret it later.
Kitty was already packing some of her things. Ray Mond vented with Kitty for a moment while they were packing up her clothes, some toiletries, and putting some of her shoes in a different suitcase. As most of her essentials were packed the servants began to start bringing her stuff downstairs to the big garage where he gresley was parked and they even added some of her suit cases in their personal chauffeur black glendale. Max wore a standard black attire. Nice black suit with a chauffeur hat on as well with some white gloves.
Ray Mond was not ready mentally, but if she has to do this for her kingdom she will do whatever it takes to keep her family proud. To make Mr. K proud. She has so much to owe him, he let her in even though her family was slaughtered in the last war, she thought she was a goner but when he gladly made her princess of the Chang Gang, the Little Seoul Kingdom, she will die for them.
Max bows at the princess before he spoke to her, “My lady, it is a pleasure to see you today.” he said warmly before giving her his handsome smile. ”You as well Max, it is always nice to see your amazing smile.” She compliments him before she says her goodbyes. Zaceed sits in the driver seat, Kitty and Zolo in the back seats while Ramee sits with Max in the glendale.
Ray Mond gave big hugs to her siblings April and Taco, she even said her farewells to some of the other members in the group.
“I really hope you can come back and visit us, I know you will do great up there! Keep me updated on how you are doing, you are able to keep your phone right?” April looked concerned, Ray Mond just chuckled before she nodded yes to her.
“I will keep you updated, I promise you I will be fine.” Ray Mond reassured her before she stepped away and entered the vehicle
They pull out of the garage, before they passed the big mansion she looks out and she sees Taco, April, Mr. K, Vinny and many others waved goodbye to Ray Mond, she let out a small sniffle before Kitty handed her a tissue, she grabbed it and dabbed away any tears that escaped her eyes.
“Do not worry, my lady. I will always be by your side, through thick and thin.” Kitty promised and placed her hand on the princess’ shoulder, already forgetting she will have to go back to the Chang Gang home.
“Miss Dream, you are actually will only be there to help her settle in and come back with us, Mr. K orders, he needs you to help April, Brekkers has been assigned a new position in the kingdom.” Zaceed said in a deep tone since obviously Ray was there, he always wanted to give her a good impression, but Ray never thought of Zaceed that way, especially when he got pink hair. He didn’t know that.
Ray Mond looked at Zaceed, “Are you serious, he is leaving me with these clowns alone?” Now she was annoyed, not only did she have to marry the clown prince, she now loses the one person she trusts the most. “Please can you at least see if Vinny can change his mind and get one of the maids to become April’s servant or something?” She begins to demand the two in the car. Kitty was not saying anything but all she did was pray that Ray Mond will be safe and in hopes that the two boys will help her to get the king to agree to come stay in grapeseed with her.
“I will do what I can princess.” is all he said, since then the ride was quiet. All they felt was Ray Mond’s furious and upset emotions in the car. They did not want to upset her even more by talking about the arranged marriage. Once they passed Sandy and into Grapeseed, they passed the guards and deeper they went they arrived at the mansion that was surrounded by clowns, they all had some sort of mask or face paint on. Ray Mond was a bit disgusted and a little bit afraid to see them. Her palms began to sweat, and she gulped before Zaceed opened her door, she slowly got out of the car, Kitty as well. Kitty standing right behind Ray Mond. Max, Zaceed and Zolo begin to unpack her things as the two girls begin to walk towards the slightly old looking mansion they spotted two clowns with crowns on. Ray Mond immediately bows, showing respect the same goes with Kitty.
Wendy, one of the servants, came down the stairs to help Ray Mond up the stairs guiding her towards the royalties. She fixed her posture and she placed both her hands in front of her, while Kitty kept close by and she kept quiet.
“It is a pleasure to finally meet you.” Ray Mond said with seriousness in her tone. Before she could say more the prince and princess appeared. The king looked at his kids before he cleared his throat to let them know to introduce themselves to her. Sooty their princess knew exactly what the king wanted.
“I am Princess Sooty, also known as BoomBoom” she slightly bowed not liking bowing but she would get into trouble if she didn’t. The two others one with pink hair and another with red. The one with the pink hair walked towards Ray Mond grabbing her hand, placing a small kiss on the back of her hand.
“I am Prince Party Hardy, and that is all you need to know.” he said handsomely before he backed away standing next to Sooty. Chatterbox let a small “tch” out, then Bobo growled at him making the red haired man snap out of it. He slightly bowed at Ray and he placed his elbow out and pointed at himself.
“I am Chatterbox.” He said with a small stupid tone in his voice. “The Prince.” He added afterwards before he walked away from Ray Mond, as she rolled her eyes at how he spoke, the king was upset with his son. Once they introduced themselves to her, she took a deep breath in before speaking and introducing herself.
“I am Princess Ray Mond, from Chang Gang, The ruler himself Mr. K of Little Seoul” She was trying so hard to be formal with her soon to be family. In-laws.
“Wendy, please escort her to her room.” The queen, Tessa has ordered her.
“Wennnndyyyy….” Wendy said while she happily held her arm and hand, guiding her to her new room upstairs next to the princess of the clowns room, which also was right beside Chatterbox’s room as well. Everyone who was with Ray Mond followed the clown to her new room, once they entered they noticed that her room looked recently renovated. It was quite noticeable from what the exterior was looking at.
“Wendy, is now your new servant.” The red headed clown bowed at her before she exited the room letting her properly settle in while Max still bringing all her suitcases in, Kitty was off putting things in the bathroom and walk closet which she didn't even have at her Chang Gang mansion, which she did not mind at all since she did have the biggest bathroom anyone could ask for. Ray Mond just sat there on the king size bed, the duvet cover was beautiful she thought, it was velvet red with some red cotton pillows perfectly placed, she was surprised how beautiful it was in the home. Sooty interrupted her thoughts with a happy greeting “Hello!” she lets out a giggle. Ray Mond focused on the blue haired woman.
“Hello.” Ray Mond stood up from the bed, she placed her hand in front of herself.
“It is nice to finally meet you, I have heard so much about you!” Sooty grabbed her hands into hers, “I bet we will be the bestest friends.” She giggled again, Ray gave her a smile and nodded. “I am sure we will.” Ray said happily but with a slight sad tone at the end. Sooty already saw she was a bit sad.
“Are you hungry?” Sooty asked kindly as she pulled Ray Mond with her outside her room and Ray Mond wanted to fight back and not leave her room but Sooty did not seem like a bad clown at all, she was beautiful to see after taking her mask off.
“Sure, I can go for something to eat.”
“We have some beef stew tonight” She said happily, she was surprised how happy she was at everything and anything. Sooty seated Ray at the dining table and sat right next to her. Kitty followed from afar but she stood against the wall, so she was not in the way. Time went on and every royalty made their way to the dining table as well, the King and Queen sitting at each end of the table, Party hardy sitting across from Sooty and well supposed to be Chatterbox sitting across from the table from Ray Mond.
The King did not wait for the Prince, he waited for no one.
A clown with green hair and another with brown hair. They started to place the bowl of stew in front of each royalty. Then they began to start pouring wine, and water in each proper cup, including Chatterbox’s which he was still nowhere to be seen.
The King begins to call over one of the clowns and whispers in their ear, demanding to find his son, Chatterbox. Even though they will start dinner he still wanted him to be having dinner with his soon to be fiancée. The two male clowns and others begin to leave the room, Kitty still standing properly behind Ray Mond.
The Queen, Tessa spoke first. “Again, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. We welcome you here with open arms.” She spoke with a smile on her face, Ray Mond smiled back at the Queen.
“Thank you for allowing me in your home.” Ray Mond said sweetly.
“Shall we eat?” Tessa said sweetly as she picked up her utensils and began to eat, everyone followed along. Ray Mond was definitely impressed by how it tasted, she thought hats off to the chef.
Moments go by, drinks are drunk, bowls of food are already gone. Chatterbox finally entered the dining room, plopping himself in the free seat, Bobo was not impressed at him. Tessa was the opposite; she was just glad he was here. The King tapped at his leg with his staff that he has with him at all time, gesturing to sit properly. He was not happy with how he acts ever since he was told that he will marry Ray Mond.
Chatterbox hit the desk, the items on the King’s desk slightly moved from the impact of Chatterbox’s fists.
“Why does it have to be me?” Chatterbox was not afraid to talk back to his father, “Let Party Hardy marry that Chang Banger.” Chatterbox wasn’t happy one bit.
“I do not need to repeat myself why you are marrying her, you should have listened to me in the first place.” The king said while unphased with his son’s emotions towards him. He did not think his own son would be like this, he did what he did when his father arranged to marry his mother; Tessa.
“Yuck. You.” Chatterbox growled before he was about to leave the room. Bobo raised from his seat, he grabbed his arm making Chatterbox turn towards his father, SLAP right across his face.
“You do not talk to me like ever!” Bobo angrily said, “Never disrespect your king like that.” He pushed him out of the office down to the room where he would lock Chatterbox in whenever he was being bad.
“You were doing so well, not being a yuck bag.” He shoved him into the small room, locking the door afterwards. “Think about what you have done.” he said loudly but on the Chatterbox side it was nothing but a muffle.
Chatterbox was stuck in that room for a good 6 hours, he apologized to his father on one knee with his head down before he left the room where his father sits upon his throne.
“Chatty” the green haired clown whispered in his ear, Chatterbox body language softened as his servant was telling him something, Ray Mond was curious with Chatterbox, She looked away once his beautiful brown eyes met with hers.
“Grab the…. Then get…. Thanks Twinkles…..” Chatterbox whispers quieter and loudly on and off. Twinkles nods and storms out the room, hmm. Wonder why that happened. “Chatty, please be more polite towards your fiance?” Party Hardy nudged jokingly at him. Chatterbox hmphed before he elbowed him back, “Will you shut the yuck up!”
A small gasp, “Chatterbox, language!” The Queen scolds her son quietly, Ray Mond lets out a small giggle. The prince gave the princess a side eye before looking back at his mom.
“Sooty, Party Hardy please if you may leave us alone.” Bobo said, before they both got up and left, including all the servants.
“Mr. Box” Ray Mond said looking at Chatty, you can hardly see his reaction on his face but his body language said it all, it was tense.
“Please, Chatterbox is fine.” With annoyance in his tone, Ray Mond nodded and she apologized to him, “Fine, Chatterbox.” mocking on how he said it.
“I am glad to finally meet you one on one.” Ray Mond’s eyes did not leave his, she was not going to lie she wanted to try to show dominance and show she is not an ordinary princess.
