   Summary

   Nearing the end of his apprenticeship, padawan Dedue is given one last mission before he can rise to the rank of jedi knight. He is assigned as the bodyguard of newly appointed Senator Blaiddyd, a young man who is trying his best to stay true to his values even as the Republic falls further and further into corruption.

   As the treasonous actions of the Separatists become harder to ignore and the galaxy's ruin inches ever closer, Dimitri and Dedue find it harder to balance both duty and love all at once.

   In the end, which will win out? Their devotion to one another, or the decay spreading to every last corner of their worlds?
