Summary
This is a post-canon story set in roughly 14 years after the film's ending.
Kay is at a crossroads - he has just become his own boss not long ago; his boyfriend of 3-year wants to take their relationship to the next level, but Kay isn’t sure if it’s the right time or even the right man. A family funeral brings him home in more than a decade, what he thought would be a quick visit turns into a series of surprises.
Marc is at a loss - his police career is in a stalemate, his ex-wife wouldn’t speak to him; his son is hurting, but he doesn’t know what to do. But help is on the way - from someone unexpected.
Things only get more complicated when the two meet again, with their past, present and future tangled up together.
