Kamiki Hikaru walked through the hospital's hallway as he headed towards Hoshino Ai's room, fully aware that the doctor (who was probably responsible for Ai) was following and watching him like a hawk. Hikaru wouldn't blame him for being overly cautious because if he saw someone dressed in all black, wearing a cap and a face mask which hid their face from view, he would be extremely suspicious too. Though, he supposed that caution and suspicion turned into panic when he headed towards Hoshino Ai's room and simply entered her room without knocking.
He made a beeline towards the chair and took his seat, ignoring his girlfriend's startled look. He heard the door crack open slightly, no doubt by the doctor that was following and watching him earlier, and also was in the right mindset to be extremely concerned and terrified for the girl who was resting on the bed.
Since Hoshino Ai was an idol after all.
So Hikaru was not surprised that the doctor kept an eye on him, just in case he tried anything on Ai. He will admit that he was surprised that the doctor didn't drag and/or throw him out of the room immediately but he won't complain about it. In fact, he's grateful that the doctor didn't do that. He laid his crossed arms on the bed and whacked his head on his arms, letting out an exhausted sigh all while ignoring Ai's giggled of amusement as she took his cap off. “Who's this?” She asked in amusement as Hikaru looked up and through the blond strands of his bangs, he stared at her with an unimpressed look on his face.
“Who indeed?” Hikaru drawled out as he took his facemask off to reveal his full face, and then he went back to his previous position, “I'm so tired. I didn't even know why I came all the way here,” he mumbled in exhaustion and he could feel Ai was playing with the strands of his hair, humming. “Also, sensei,” he called out, “You can come in if you want,” he said, lifting his head to see the doctor who was probably in charge of taking care of Ai, entering the room with a suspiciously blank look on his face.
Hikaru stared at him in amusement, watching in real time as the doctor's brain swirled around the question and answer as to who Hikaru could be to Ai, considering Ai was currently holding his hand and linking them together. Ai smiled innocently at the doctor, “This is Kamiki Hikaru,” she said sweetly as Hikaru snorted, “I think you already figured out who he is and the answer is yes. He is my boyfriend and the father of the twins,” she confirmed the doctor's suspicion while Hikaru turned to look at her in surprise.
“Twins??????” He asks, extremely shocked by the discovery but both Ai and the doctor could see that he was very excited about the discovery. He couldn't help but poke Ai's belly gently, “Oh,” he said with wonder as he kept poking her belly gently while Ai giggled at him.
“So how long are you going to stay here?” Ai asked curiously as the doctor lingered around a bit more, still keeping an eye on Hikaru who didn't mind the doctor's cautious nature and simply wanted to make sure that Hikaru wasn't up to anything.
Hikaru shrugged, “Maybe for a few days…” Hikaru said with a shrug, “Then I'll go back since I still have school and all,” he grimaced, “And back to me inhaling unhealthy amount of energy drinks because I procrastinated on my homeworks too much and by the time I started to do them, I need to finish all of them by tomorrow,” he grumbled with a shudder as Ai giggled at him, squeezing his hand in silent support.
The two ended up talking about everything and anything while the doctor walked out of the room, finally satisfied with his observations as it was clear that Hikaru wasn't up to anything. It was very clear to him that Hikaru was only there purely because he simply wanted to be there with Ai.
Amamiya Gorou watched the two in amusement because whenever Hikaru came to visit, Gorou would just see them talking to each other about practically everything and anything, “Ah, young love,” he mused with pure amusement, watching Hikaru and Ai wander around together while holding hands.
In all honesty, Gorou actually had mixed feelings about his favourite idol being pregnant. However, knowing that she was not only pregnant but also dating someone, were making the feelings even more mixed. And it gets even more mixed when he watches said idol interacting with her boyfriend right in front of him. He has a lot of mixed feelings about this entire thing, however, he's a professional.
So it didn't matter what he felt at the moment because he decided to support Ai all the way, regardless of this knowledge. He even vowed to himself to bring her children to the world safely and protect them from any danger.
And protect them he did.
He cursed at the thought of not being able to fulfil his promise with Ai and he cursed at the stalker even more for pushing him off the cliff, and then at himself for being stupid. He could only hope everything went well with the delivery and that both Ai and Hikaru realised that they both hold romantic feelings for each other because Gorou could see that those two, despite currently dating each other, do not realise that.
They don't realise that at all.
How he wished he could fulfil his promise to Ai.
Kamiki Aquamarine snorted at the same old sight that always greeted him because he's so bored of seeing the same thing over and over. “Too bad,” Aqua said blandly, “You're life is about to go on again,” Aqua said with a yawn. “And here we go again.”
Aqua smiled.
“At very least, this story is way different than usual and let's just hope it stays that way, huh?”
What ended up happening to Amamiya Gorou was that he got reincarnated.
Instead of going to hell.
Here's the thing, he should be happy to be able to experience life again as the son of his favourite idol and her boyfriend, however, the more he looked at the two, the more he wanted to kick up a fuss.
Then the urge hit him even more because he really wanted to do more than just kicking up a fuss…
Why?
Well…
Here's something he wanted someone to answer him.
Who the fuck put him in the front row seat of the annoying scene of Hikaru and Ai pining for each other!?
Because absolutely fucking NOT.
In fact,
LET HIM OUT OF HERE!!!!!
He wanted to lock these two in the fucking closet together and make sure they talk about their feelings for each other because he did not get paid enough for this.
Like not at all!!!
You would think after seeing how Kamiki Hikaru and Hoshino Ai interact as Amamiya Gorou, he would get used to the pining by now but no.
He absolutely did not get used to it. In fact, It's actually infuriating to watch the two still dancing around each other despite having real romantic feelings towards each other.
Amamiya Gorou, now reincarnated as both Kamiki Hikaru and Hoshino Ai's son, Hoshino Aquamarine, watched in absolute vexation at the obvious pining that was going on in his fucking face.
Man, he really wants to just yell at these two pining idiots and shake them violently because oh my god.
Are you fucking kidding me!?
He took a deep breath.
Then started screaming and wailing in Hikaru's ear to scare the shit out of him as he was the one that was currently carrying Aqua in his arms. The sixteen year old boy flinched at the sudden burst of loudness and immediately started to calm him down… well trying to calm him down anyway, “What's wrong Aqua?” He asked soothingly as Aqua gave him a teary pout because he is no longer Amamiya Gorou, an adult, therefore he can act like a child since he is one. “Is something wrong, Aqua?”
Aqua started cackling internally because right as Ai wandered into the room with his younger twin sister, Hoshino Ruby, in her arms, he said innocently to Hikaru's face, “I want you to get married,” he immediately struggled with not bursting into a laughing, cackling mess as Hikaru nearly dropped him in shock but somehow manage to not drop him to the floor.
All while Ai stared at Hikaru with an unreadable look on her face and Ruby between her parents in curiosity before letting out a gasp. “Is papa going to marry mama soon?” She asked excitedly with child-like wonder while Aqua watched in satisfaction as Hikaru went through all seven stages of grief, embarrassment and just wishing the ground to open up and swallow him whole, at once.
“No?????” Hikaru managed to let out but all Aqua heard was him squeaking in embarrassment as he slowly sat on the floor with Aqua still within his arms and currently sitting on his lap.
“He's planning a wedding soon,” Aqua said as he added more gasoline to the already burning fire as Hikaru glared at him, clearly catching on what Aqua was trying to do, “Not any time soon though,” Aqua said cheekily, “It's too early,” he said before he let out a yelp when Hikaru pinched him on the side with a smile on his face.
“Aqua, shush,” Hikaru said threateningly with a smile while Ruby pouted at his words.
“I want to see mama getting married!! I want a grand wedding for mama!!” Ruby exclaimed with a huge pout, “Mama deserves the best! Oh and I want,” and literally all of them just watched in bafflement as the one year old started listing down the things she wanted to see in her mother's wedding.
“I feel like it's you that's having a wedding and getting married rather than Ai,” Hikaru pointed out in amusement, “And also no. I'm not getting married anytime soon,” he said as both of the twins looked at him with mixed reactions on their faces.
Aqua eyes twitched, “YOU COWARD!!!! JUST CONFESS TO HER ALREADY!!!!” He screeched as loudly as he could, “I'M SO SICK OF WATCHING THE TWO OF YOU PINING OVER EACH OTHER—” Hikaru immediately covered Aqua's mouth before the boy could went on the hours worth of ranting because he can and will do it, and Hikaru know this.
Aqua grumbled angrily over Hikaru's hand as the boy glared at him. Hikaru gave Ai a charming smile, “Ignore whatever Aqua is saying. He's being extremely mean towards me per usual,” he said cheerfully but both Ai and Ruby could see that his eyes was twitching violently as Aqua started to curse up a storm against Hikaru's hand, “I'm going wash your mouth with soap,” Hikaru said with a twitching smile, glaring at Aqua who glared back at him.
Ai and Ruby watched as the two engaged in a heated debate over whether or not Hikaru should wash Aqua's mouth with soap because of how many swear words in Aqua's vocabulary despite being a one year old kid.
Ruby ignored the two to look at Ai, “Mama, I want to eat,” Ruby whined to Ai who smiled at her.
“Let's eat dinner shall we?” Ai said with a smile, also ignoring both her husb— uh. Boyfriend (damn it Aqua. Ai swears because thanks to Aqua's words, Ai couldn't help but imagine a future where she and Hikaru are married to each other and potentially have another kid together… what a nice thought— ahhh!!! Focus Ai! You're way too far in the future with that line of thought!!) and son. She went ahead and took out the ingredients from the fridge even though Hikaru would be the one cooking dinner instead of her.
