Summary
Six years ago, Katsuki returned home to find his best friend Eijiro gone without a trace. Despite searching tirelessly, Eijiro seemed to have vanished like many others after the war. But he doesn't let that stop him. He cant. So he puts his all into hero work.
But Katsuki's life takes a sudden turn when Keigo from the New Hero Commission informs him of a dangerous group targeting heroes, Katsuki in particular. To protect Class 1A's students who have already been through so much, Keigo makes the hard call to relocate them to various corners of the world indefinitely. After being sent to a quiet beach town in California, Katsuki reluctantly adjusts, finding solace in learning to surf.
However, everything changes when a local surfer with black hair reaches a hand out to him. Facing Eijiro again after so long brings back old feelings and questions. Can Katsuki forgive Eijiro's sudden departure, or has time created an unbridgeable gap between them?
As Katsuki navigates the waves and his emotions in this new life, he must confront whether some wounds are too deep to heal.
