[ Miya Atsumu’s remarks after a spectacular game against the EJP Raijin ]

Shirai Hitomi: Hello everyone! I’m Shirai Hitomi and here we are today with Miya Atsumu, setter for the MSBY Black Jackals. He played a fantastic game today against the Jackals’ opponent, the EJP Raijin, and the incredible backwards set he used to assist in the game’s winning point has the crowd buzzing! How are you feeling following this victory Miya-San?
Miya Atsumu: Well, I’m obviously feelin’ real great. That set was one that I couldn’t get nailed down during practices but then it went and worked today. Nothin’ feels better than a set like that being set perfectly to yer hitter’s hand, which by the way, was executed reaaaal nice by Shoyo-kun. Either way, I’m rearin’ ta get outta here and celebrate the win.
Shirai Hitomi: Of course! Who wouldn’t be excited after a toss like that? How are you planning to celebrate?
Miya Atsumu: The Jackals will probably wanna go out to some place, but I think the real highlight of my night will be annoyin’ the livin’ hell outta Rin and my twin brother.
Shirai Hitomi: Ah yes. Miya Osamu, owner of the popular Onigiri Miya. But who is this “Rin” you speak of?
Miya Atsumu: Ya want a nice answer or a truthful answer?
Shirai Hitomi: I think I speak on behalf of your fans when I say a truthful answer, if you’re willing to give us one.
[ The camera shows Miya Atsumu taking a quick look to his side while flashing a brief smirk. What he looked at is not shown. ]
Miya Atsumu: Ah well, I could probably go on for hours, but I’m guessin’ I’ll get a real earful if I reveal their secrets on national television. I think I’ll start by sayin’ that Rin and I are reaaal close, if ya know what I mean.
Shirai Hitomi: A girlfriend then?
Miya Atsumu: Well — I wouldn’t say that.
Shirai Hitomi: An unlabeled relationship then?
[ The camera shows Miya Atsumu taking another quick look to his side. After a long look, he focuses back on the camera and shrugs. ]
Miya Atsumu: Rin’s a pain is what I’ll tell ya. But in a real endearin’ way, like how my brother eats a scoopa ice cream every day despite bein’ lactose intolerant.
[ A voice yells from behind Miya Atsumu. ]
Miya Atsumu: I better get goin’. Wouldn’t want the team leavin’ without me!
[ Miya Atsumu makes a dash for the Jackals locker room. ]
Shirai Hitomi: Well, you heard it here folks! One of Japan’s hottest bachelors might not be a bachelor after all!

Shirai Hitomi: Hello everyone! I’m Shirai Hitomi and today’s interview will be with EJP Raijin’s middle blocker, Suna Rintarou!
[ Suna Rintarou smiles politely at the camera and waves. ]
Shirai Hitomi: So Suna-san, you’ve just finished off the season with a win. How are you feeling?
Suna Rintarou: Really good. It’s nice to get a win over a good team.
Shirai Hitomi: A man of few words I see. How have you felt about this season overall?
Suna Rintarou: Also really good. The team we had this season was great to work with and it’s been a great time working with them.
Shirai Hitomi: Is there a particular teammate you’re closest with?
Suna Rintarou: Uh I wouldn’t really say so. I get along with everyone on the team pretty well. I guess if I really had to choose, it’d be Komori, since we’re the same age and I used to play against his team a lot in high school.
Shirai Hitomi: How sweet! I bet Komori-san would say the same about you, right?
[ Suna Rintarou side eyes Shirai Hitomi before looking back at the camera. ]
Suna Rintarou: Maybe? We get along so probably.
Shirai Hitomi: Haha I see! Now that the season is over, was there a team that you particularly liked playing against?
Suna Rintarou: MSBY Black Jackals, definitely. I know a lot of people on the team and I’m pretty close to them. Plus Atsumu’s there.
Shirai Hitomi: Ah yes, Miya Atsumu. The two of you have great chemistry, on and off the court, if your posts on social media are any indication. The two of you must be good friends.
[ Suna Rintarou grins and chuckles. ]
Suna Rintarou: If you can keep a secret, then I’ll agree with you there. Don’t tell him though, he only knows that I love him.
Shirai Hitomi: Wow what a jokester! I wish I had a friendship like the two of you! And last question, with your break coming up, how are you planning on spending it?
Suna Rintarou: I’m going to stay in Osaka for a while. I think Komori might come too, to visit Sakusa. I’ll mostly be with Atsumu though.
Shirai Hitomi: What a bond, you really are a great friend. Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions and here’s to another great season for the EJP Raijin!

atsumumiya Still can’t believe I can say this, but … I’ll be marryin’ the most special person in my life soon :) I’ll never be able to stop sayin’ that I’m beyond grateful for all the years I’ve spent with ya, Rin. I’ll keep this short, but I love ya and I can’t wait to marry ya. ❤️ This was the best surprise ya could’ve given me.
