Work Text:
Green was sitting on the couch watching TV when he heard knocking. He got up and opened it, a bit surprised to see Red standing there.
"Red, what are you doing here?"
"..." As usual, Red had no response. But he wanted to see if he could make Green confess his feelings for him. Only one way to find out.
Green sighed. "Come in, I guess."
Red stormed passed him with a light blush on his face, almost knocking Green over.
"H-Hey! You can't just storm in here and-"
He went back over to Green and grabbed him by the arm, shoving him onto the couch. Red sat next to him.
"What's the matter with him?" This was unusual behavior for Red. He was usually shy and didn't talk very much. "...Red, did something happen?"
He stared at the TV, not saying anything.
Green was getting annoyed. "Say something, damnit! You can't just waltz in here like that without a reason!"
"I like you."
Green was shocked. "All right, then. That's a pretty good reason-wait, no it's not!"
Red continued watching TV, acting like nothing even happened.
Green lost it. "YOU CAN'T JUST COME IN HERE AND IGNORE ME LIKE THAT! GEEZ, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I LIKE YOU ANYWAYS!" It took a couple seconds for Green to realize what he said. His face grew hot and he ran out of the living room into his bedroom, slamming the door behind him.
Red grinned and left the house, satisfied. He got his confession.
