Work Text:
The White Rabbit is always late.
But here’s the secret no one talks about.
If you really need to find him, he’s never far from the King and Queen’s bedchambers.
When he is away, the white fur that lingers on their clothes is telling; so are the lipstick stains he carries with him, red smudges of different sizes littering his long white ears.
“Will you marry me too?” he asks one day, slipping his precious white gloves on the King’s hands and the most beautiful red roses he could find on the Queen’s hair.
This is their happily ever after.
