Chapter Text
Mrs Adler growled, she almost threw the knife into Bill when he accidentally came across the battle between her and Mr Pearson. She yelled at him, swear, "If I don't get out of you soon, I would kill somebody."
Immediately Mr Pearson turned back with the still on his hand, pointed at Mrs Adler. He tried to keep her calm down, "If you don't stop hissing at me, I'm gonna kill you.", like many time before, he failed. Mrs Adler devoured each word came out her mouth.
"Come near me, sailor... and I will slice you up!" But Mr Pearson didn't gave up that soon, he still tried to came her. He slowly approached her, calmly said.
"You pit that knife down or you're going to missing a hand, lady." Before Mrs Adler jumped up, Bill disrupted their conversation. He splited two people in a fighting, and walked slowly after Mrs Adler when she gave up.
She sniffed, kept her away from the sailor. They walked together as far as they can feel safe. Bill invited her a cigarette, fired and then, she said.
"Thank you, I don't think you're that good." Bill silent in a few second. What did she say? He ask himself, was not he a good person. Mrs Adler cut his thought with a smile on her face. "Not that mean, Mr!"
"OK. Why... uh... you... uh..." he can't complete the sentence, so Mrs Adler do to him.
"Why I fight against Mr Pearson?" He nodded. "I hate being here, doing what women have to do."
"So... you want to do man jobs or something like that."
"Yeah, of course! Do you have?" Bill scratched his bearded chin, thinking about any suitable cases for Miss Adler. But she can do anything a man can do, except get a woman pregnant. If so, then anything is possible, she can do it all.
"Do you want to rob with me?" She smiled brightly as if he had just made her a bridesmaid. Miss Adler nodded immediately, pulling Bill up from the rough log.
"I heard that a goods cargo in Valentine was robbed by a group of robbers, who drove east yesterday evening. If we're lucky, we can steal those things back." The two walked towards the horses, checking their guns and ammo before mounting them. After hearing more detail, she nodded and drove the horse after Bill. .

The distance from Horseshoe Overlook to the place where the robbers temporarily hid was not too far, less than half an hour by horse. They stopped at the edge of the forest, tied their horses before approaching the wooden house where they lived. The rickety wooden house smelled of damp wood, enough space for ten people to temporarily stay.
The cargo was right outside, there were two guys guarding it, they seemed quite drunk. Looking at the pile of empty bottles next to him, he could guess that if the two of them killed them with a knife, it would be easy.
Bill chose the guy standing on the left side of the car, the remaining guy on the right will be left to her. They approached slowly, from behind, the sharp knife cut deep into the throat, causing warm blood to flow out of the body. Blood stained Ms. Adler's hands, but she continued with her plan without wiping them away.
After dealing with the two guys, they looked through the gap between two rotten wooden panels, the robbers were sitting around the fire, discussing where to sell them for a higher price. Including Saint Denis, Annesburg,... quite far to the east of where they stood. There were five people in total, five men, wearing only shirts and pants. Their weapons are placed on the table, behind their backs.
Ms. Adler called Bill over, whispered her plan and Bill immediately agreed. She walked to the front door, the gun hidden behind her back that she wouldn't see if she looked from the front. After knocking twice, a short guy came out, she bent slightly to talk to him.
"Can you help me a little? My horse is stuck on a rock!" He looked up at her and answered with a sour voice.
"There?" She pointed to a certain direction, then, his skinny neck appeared. Without hesitation, she slammed the butt of the gun into the back of his neck, causing the skinny guy to fall down, shooting him once in the back skull, make sure he's dead.
Hearing the gunshots outside, the robbers were startled. They quickly stood up and tried to run to the gun but couldn't make it in time. The two people outside discharged a whole magazine of bullets at them, not giving them any more time.
There were bullet holes all over their bodies, their bodies were not intact. One body lay on top of another, blood mixed together, creating a not-so-beautiful scene. Ms. Adler put the gun on her back and walked into the wooden house.
The strong smell of blood rushed straight into her nostrils, but did not make her curiosity decrease. She rummaged around the house, on the table, under the fireplace,... everywhere, but couldn't find twenty dollars.
"Nothing!" She walked out of the wooden house and approached Bill. He sat waiting for her in the carriage, two horses were tied to the cart.
"We're going to rob, not thieves." She laughed out loud, wiping the blood on her shirt.
"Have you checked the goods?" Bill shook his head, climbed out of the car to check the goods with her.
The two pulled the door aside, stepped inside, and pulled down the boxes. After picking the lock, the two were surprised to see that everything inside was jewelry, dresses and gemstones. They sparkled, drowning out the light from the sun at the foot of the mountain.
"I'll take this ring!" Bill took out a simple silver ring from the pile of jewelry. It was lost in the pile of expensive jewelry studded with precious stones.
"It's so simple! This one that's more beautiful!" Bill looked at the ring on her hand, it had a red gemstone, more beautiful, but didn't match his thoughts.
"I plan to use it to propose. "
"Who?"
"Kieran. Soon." She nodded and smiled at him .
