Summary
Shen Jiu and Liu Qingge didn’t like each other; that was a fact, and a pretty well known one at that. Shen Jiu and Liu Qingge were also, unfortunately, volleyball teammates in their university team. That was another fact, and the two of them combined resulted in a very explosive combination of Shen Jiu and Liu Qingge constantly competing against each other, trying to prove to one another that they were, in fact, the better player.
Now, their coach was threatening to bench them and make them sit out the most important match of the year, the one that would qualify their team for Nationals, and that didn’t sit right with either of them.
Or: Shen Jiu and Liu Qingge are volleyball rivals – which would be great, if they weren’t in the same team. When their coach threatens to bench them in the qualifying match for Nationals, however, they pull out all the stops to try and get along.
