Summary
In the aftermath of the defeat of the Netherbrain, Astarion copes with the tragedy of losing his Bhaalspawn lover, who had sacrificed themselves to become a mind flayer, and ended their life after.
Astarion does this by writing his beloved a few short letters throughout the following months. In these letters, he shares the ups and downs of his new life as a vampire spawn and recovering from the final battle. He also shares his immense grief for the love he had.
