Summary
He thinks about the kids, each one of them tucked so tightly inside his chest that it feels like a heart attack sometimes. He loves them so much he feels the physical pain of it in his chest when he lets the thought linger.
He craves them in a way that isn’t healthy, and he knows this, he does. He needs to be better about it- he needs to be better about not smothering them in affection, better about leaving them alone but he can’t help it. It’s carved into his ribs, embedded into the very fabric of who he is to take care of them, to give them everything he possibly can.
