no way in hell would Casey Jones be scared of anything. sure, rats did absolutely terrify him, but he got used to them after visiting the turtles and seeing splinter all the time. so, yeah, he had no fears!
nothing could scare Casey Jones. nothing, nope, nada, no way, loud incorrect buzzer.
…
except maybe, possibly, probably, okay yeah definitely spiders. it was spiders.
“really? a spider?” raphael mocked him. who was he to talk? that guy was literally scared of cockroaches!
“that’s rich comin’ from you! everytime you see a roach, you scream like a girl!” casey defended, pointing at raph from across his room.
in case you were wondering, both of them were in raph’s room. raph stood near the door, and casey was backed into a corner, shaking and hyperventilating.
raph rolled his eyes, not in the mood to argue. he took a step forward, making the small spider on the floor back away closer to casey. it wasn’t even that close to him, and he almost screamed.
“oHMYGOD, RAPH, PLEASE GET IT OUTTA HERE.” he clung to the wall with his non-existent nails. he almost always had his nails at a decent length but he had a horrible habit of picking at them. raph has nail clippers in his room because of it.
“uhh.. i ain’t touchin’ that thing, i just took a shower and i dunno where it’s been.” the spider stayed still as raph insulted it. casey made sure to keep his eyes on it at all times.
raph scratched his head and looked at casey, he didn’t want him to be scared and uncomfortable but he also didn’t want to hurt an innocent critter. maybe donnie could help, he picks up random bugs all the time.
“stay here, i’m gonna see if donnie will get it for ya.” he left the room.
“RAPH NO WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING GET BACK HERE DON’T JUST LEAVE ME WITH IT-” casey panicked, the spider still hadn’t moved and casey hoped it wouldn’t. he looked at the door for a second, just for a second.
it was gone, he looked back at the floor and the fucking spider was gone oh god oh shit.
casey almost started crying when he lost sight of the ugly creature.
it was only like a minute before raph returned with donnie but it felt like hours.
“it’s gone. i don’t know where it is i’m gonna throw up.” he walked quickly and cautiously to the other side of the room and stood behind raph, holding the sides of his shell like a shield.
“okay, where was it?” donnie asked, looking at casey.
casey’s eye twitched from paranoia. “uhm.. on- on the floor, like. right there. and i looked away for a second and. and it was gone.” he pointed to the spot the spider had been last. right beside raph’s bed.
donnie clicked his tongue and walked to the spot, mindful of the drumset.
“ookay, so it probably went under the bed.” he crouched to look under the bed.
there was a moment of silence, raph and casey waited for donnie to say something.
however, he raised his head up to look around the room.
“don’t tell me you lost it.” casey was literally hugging raph out of fear. raph didn’t seem to care, though.
donnie looked in casey’s direction, and then audibly gasped. he started to slowly walk towards him.
“what the fuck are you doing stop staring at me.” he got off raph, who started to back away when he saw casey.
“don’t move.” donnie said, reaching out painfully slowly.
casey stood so still, you would’ve thought he was paralyzed. donnie quickly swiped at his arm and clutched his hands together.
“got it! it was on your arm.” he smiled and walked out of the room.
casey threw up in his mouth but swallowed it. he let out a heavy and long sigh of relief.
“well there ya go, yer highness. no more spiders.” raph uncrossed his arms and sat on his bed.
“that was the worst thing i have ever experienced i fucking hate you.” casey walked over and collapsed on the bed. suddenly, his arm was itchy.
“you’re welcome.” raph said sarcasticly and laid down beside the hockey player. they held each other and soon fell asleep.
